We were in a balcony room and the shower head could move up or down on a stalk and could also be taken off and act like a hand held shower head.

I've walked to Coconuts a few times from the Beach Place - Stop 6. Nice sidewalk the whole way!
But if too hot and/or rainy, you can always call the Beach Hopper for a ride!
Is the Beach Hopper free? How do you call them?

There is another thread about the Majesty not going to Havana for a Feb 2019 sailing.

If the elevator to the left of the stairs is not working, ask some official for directions to the other "hidden" elevator.

What were the papers for? I did not have to complete any papers for travel insurance. Are you maybe confusing this with the OFAC form?

The calendar shows that on January 16th the Majesty docks at B. Where is that?

@rederob
Over many threads, you continually tell posters they are wrong with what they want to tip. You referred us to a huge thread that really did not address the issue. So, why don't you just come out and give an example of an appropriate tip?

Back to the two buffets--it sounds like one is starboard aft and the other is port aft. Correct? At first it sounded like forward and aft.

We always use flatrateforhire.com and the rate is $37, less than a metered taxi. The last time we were in Seattle there was a huge taxi line. We called flat rate and they were there in less than 5 minutes. Lots of people were "unhappy" that we just walked out and almost immediately got into our taxi while they are just standing there.

Are they confiscating hamster cages with exercise wheels? I find that three hamsters is enough to power my laptop.Just declare the hamsters your service animals and you will be fine.
Don't forget to order the little service animal vests for them.:D

Thank You!

We took Euros. If all my math is correct, I came out $25 ahead. On the way out, they don't ask what currency you want, you get US dollars. There is no 10% tax going from CUC to US, though.
How much did you exchange?

Does any one know when the European cruises for August 2020 will be out? I am looking at the British Isles. Thanks.

I also use flatrateforhire.com. The cost from SeaTac to downtown is $39 which is less than a metered taxi. It has been a few years, but if flatfrate still has the airport contract, just ask at the taxi line for a non-metered taxi. If they no longer have the contract, call them and they will come very quickly.

The elevator is to the left of the stairs going up. If that elevator is out of service, ask an official for the "hidden" elevator and they will direct you.

FerTours is mentioned often on the Cuba Board. Also, Old Car Tours, Blexie, Havana Journey, Strawberry Tours. There are others also mentioned. They all very by length and walking/car times.
-
Many private tours will meet you when you want and the starting times are not set in stone. Our cruise gets into Havana at 8:30am and leaves 2pm the next day. We are booked with oldcartours.com for 10am on day 1 for a 3 hour tour and 8:30am on day 2 for another3 hour tour. You can set the times on many of the tours available.

It won't hurt much to over budget. If you are there for 2 days, then you can better figure out how much you need for day 2. If only 1 day and you over budget, you can exchange the extra CUC for USD. The exchange fee back is also 3%.
In all of the posts I have been reading in CC and TA, I have never seen a post with the amount of detail you are asking for.
You can post this same question on TA and you might get a better response.

Just FYI, every $100 USD will get you around 90 CUCS. (I know your comment was more about the actual bill amount, not the exchange rate.) We used mostly 50's. They gave us mostly 10's in exchange
enjoy

Actually, you will get $87 CUC. 3% exchange fee and 10% USD exchange fee.

We are using oldcartours.com which is riding around in an old car and getting out when you want to. Check them out and you will see some itineraries to look at. We are doing the 3 hour Hemingway tour on day 1. On day 2 we are doing the 2 hour Havana tour plus Fusterlandia.

Good to hear!! How about the cabin size? Is an aft balcony cabin the same size as a regular balcony cabin?
I think so, but I only got peek-a-boo views of the other balcony cabins when the steward had a door open. The aft balcony was very large. We had two lounge chairs, two regular chairs, two small tables.
-
And a second question - does the POA have issues with soot on the aft balconies as I have heard other ships do? Maybe soot is an issue with all aft cabins . . . . Thanks!
I was in 9702 and had no issue with soot or other debris. Enjoy your cruise, it is wonderful.

Final Count Down Question About Cans of Soda
in Celebrity Cruises
Posted · Edited by pizzalady1
We are embarking this Sunday on the Infinity out of Vancouver. We have no beverage plan and I want to take a 12 pack of cans on board.
Can we still slap a luggage tag on cans of soda and have the porters take it?
If slapping a luggage tag does not work, can we carry it on?
If not either of the above, can we purchase cans at a bar?
According to a thread on RC, you are only allowed to bring cans using carry on. https://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=2672747
