Nice to see the rain has stopped :D
Edit: Maybe I spoke too soon...

DaveOKC Love that ship! We had Capt. Turner on our full transit Repo in October 2012. He gave us a great talk on the behind the scenes tour and is every bit the gentleman and a fine manager.

Maybe a more important question is Do they bring their horses???
And if they "doo" do they clean up after them?? ;) :D
-
Sorry if this has been asked 100 times before but what are you allowed for bringing water and soft drinks onboard?
As much as you want. Jury is still out on whether you will have to carry it on yourself or can still "tag it" as baggage at the pier and have it delivered to your room.

I had the Signature Beverage Package as part of a cruise I have booked. I called yesterday and asked if the cost of the SBP counted toward on board spending. The answer was that it didn't. I had my cruise rebooked without the SBP and the cost dropped by about the cost of the package.
I am close to another "star" and the cost of my drinks would go a long way to achieving that level. Without credit for that spending, I would not be able to advance after that cruise.
Smart! :D

Yesterday I accepted a great upgrade on the Oosterdam at a very reasonable price. My ship leaves Sidney on 11/21/14 for twenty eight days.
We'll see you on board on 12/5. :D

Or, you can order a double and save all those extra calories of two measures of mixer. ;)
Exactly :D

Wonderful :D Enjoy!

I have received several of these over the years sometimes after cruises other times seemingly at random. They may be looking for specific reactions to changes they have made or are considering making. It may also have to do with quality control and perceptions of the level of service rendered, etc.

The first paragraph seems to answer the "why"

She sails from Seattle on May 31 to Alaska. If the 3 night Coastal OP is referring to is on Amsterdam on May 28 they would need to sail from Ensenada as they can't carry passengers from San Diego to Seattle. I don't see any Coastal cruises on May 28
The poster was speculating that they might head to Vancouver on the 3-day (yes, still not posted on HAL's site) Maybe they could "dead-head to Seattle" for the next sailing? I think that is unlikely.
-
Perhaps they will rearrange things and go to Vancouver instead.
Oops- just realized they need Ensenada or Victoria in the mix.
No Vancouver is a foreign port not a US port, so no other foreign port would be needed as you are not crusing from one US port to another.

I see nothing for Amsterdam after it arrives in Ft Lauderdale on April 30 from the WC until first Alaska cruise from Seattle. Either charter or dry dock or combination would be my guess
Amsterdam: 30 April 2015 - 10 May 2015 : dry dock in Grand Bahama Shipyard, Freeport, the Bahamas.

What does the health certificate entail?
Most likely a Safe Food Handlers Certificate, as described here.

I am looking into a cruise on the Eurodam in the spring and I would be stopping at both Cartagena and Valencia two times. Is there enough to see and do to warrant two visits to these cities. And what do you recommend as not to miss highlights. Thanks.

What is a "sandwiched" cabin?
Not sure but can you order one from room service? ;) :D
-
Its never to early to start day dreaming about your cruise or what you might be eating. I do it all the time.:D:D
You know it! :D I'm in that under 30 day window now and it's kicking in hard :D:p

Bon Voyage! and safe travels to you all :D
-
Yes there is and you can order off it as much as you please. You can also order multiple/different appetizers for smaller portions if that is your goal. I often do this as I had a gastric bypass.

If anyone hears who is Piano Man on Oosterdam 19 Dec I'd love to know.
According to this thread. http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=2055301&page=7
It will be Jeff Warren.
