That would actually help me. I'm on the June 1st cruise and I've been thinking about a behind the scenes tour ever since my first Royal Caribbean cruise.
We will be getting off the ship June 1st

We will be doing the tour on our May 25th cruise and can report back after.

And I see a "medical alert dog" tag on the leash.
For $18.95 you too can bring your poodle/zebra/lion/tiger onboard!

Grab a few green apples the first day at Windjammer. We once talked to a crew member who swore by that method. Once I was desperate enough to try anything and it worked ! Lol

My first cruise with RCCL I happened to look out the windows in the windjammer in rough seas and immediately got nauseous. I hightailed it back to my room and my cabin steward saw I was looking a bit green in the gills. He said “Miss Amanda... I will go get you something, just rest.” He came back with green apples and sat with me while I ate and started to feel better.
10 years later and I still swear by green apples for motion sickness!

I think you would like "Here Comes the Girls"
Added it to my Amazon list! Thanks!

Summer at Sea by Beth Labonte is about a single girl who goes on a Boston-Bermuda cruise on NCL. The book is seriously laugh out loud funny.
I have been on the Boston- Bermuda cruise and it was fun following their adventures on the pink buses, mopeds of Bermuda and all the cruise antics.
Wish I could find another book just like this one!

yeah to be honest i really just wanted to keep in touch with people back home, via a messaging app, so wasnt looking for insane speeds but those prices per day are awfully expensive.. i am going from jersey to florida to the Bahamas and back up to jersey, i wonder if i will have cell service the whole time that i could just send a few texts and pay for them
You will have cell service on your port day in Port Canaveral.
Nassau has free wifi in multiple locations.
Otherwise you will be too far from land to have service.

This breaks my heart. We stayed on St Martin at the Flamingo Beach Resort in Simpson Bay. I just can’t imagine the terror folks must have gone through....

We love going to McCarthy’s Wildlife Sanctuary in West Palm Beach. They do tours limited to 10 or so people and you do have to prebook. Lions, tigers, panthers, fox, reptiles, birds..... it’s like going on a behind the scenes tour of a zoo.... you learn each animals story.
Right now they have a baby white lion that you can pay to have play time with. Check their Facebook page.

We are also sailing on her in May. Loved the Explorer so we are hoping for a similar experience!

Face painting, a costume parade and trick or treating to all the shops/bars.
We did Halloween on the Explorer and Liberty 2 years in a row. One year we brought a costume and one we didn't.

Yeah that's called a glitch. I don't see the reason to call in before you've paid what you know to the the actual amount due tbh.
Because They told us they don't know what accounts are messed up so it isn't going to fix itself.
And why would I want to look at an incorrect total for over a year instead of calling and correcting it. Who knows if they are going to be easy to work with. They originally told us that our price went up because we didn't chose the discounted price. Um? Excuse me?
I would rather know now and have the opportunity to cancel vs having flights etc booked and have them say, nope, not fixing it, too bad.
I want my bill to be correct. And I will call every time.

Royal is having major IT issues. We logged on tonight just to add our c&a numbers to a cruise we booked two weeks ago. Our original cruise was 2,700 minus the 750 deposit we owed about 1,900. Today our cruise total was 3,800 and we still owed 3,100!
Called Royal and they could see the original pricing and corrected it back. Thankfully.
They admitted they are having issues but said they don't know what/why and who it has affected. So check and call in if it is wrong!

Just got the same timeframe for mine. Apparently early summer is an excellent time to renew through Philadelphia. Just over two weeks for new book, just under three weeks for card to arrive, and just over three weeks for old passport (with my hard-fought Brazil visa in it) to come back
We did not receive our old passport books back. Do they come back separately?

Sent our renewals in 6/24 and received our new passports today 7/8. Exactly 2 week turnaround.
We submitted our sons the same day and his is not back yet (children have to apply for a new passport, no renewals).

We are sailing on AD next Friday (5/25) and just received an email from Hugo introducig himself and listing Suite benefits. Odd thing is... we are in a Junior Suite but the email list includes access to the Suite lounge, free room service, Suite seating for shows, Suite pool seating, etc. I thought JS did not have those benefits?
