It is because of age. After one is a certain age, they no longer take

the time and send you to send thought through the normal tsa liine. Check the tsa web site as to age, and

other requirements for the tsa pre check. We love the goes pass getting off

planes,it has saved us time. Ye,s they use passport machines in Seattle, Detroit,

Chicago, San Francisco, but the lines are still very long. We got off the plane and in minutes are waiting for cases. Now, it only that, getting cases, was faster. Even with first class, and business, there is still a wait. We can dream.

There is a shuttle service from NRT to the Yokohoma subway and train

terminal. Taxi are at the platform. From there you could take the subway, but a taxi will cost about

15 us dollars. The shuttle was about 25. It is the cheapest and fastest way from the airport. The prices will depend on the exchange rate of the yen. Of course you could use your ships transfer. Taxis are very expensive in Japan.

You can call Princess and asked for the ticket to be paid to the airline now, if you have paid in full. Also, you should check weekly with the airline directly on site, to check seat assignment, and if there is an electronic ticket number for each segment. We fly business, so get our seat assignments. So airlines, British Air, Cathy Pacific not until a couple of days out. It also helps if you have a FF number with the airline. When this is on the airlines site, we print it out and bring a copy with us. Can you have problems, yes, but even booking directly with the airlines, one has to also be careful. We have used EasyAir and have got very

good deals.

The three times we have been to this port, they a local bank,has a small trailer

Take a taxi from the port to the airport. Store your cases. Taxis can

be engaged by the hour, we have done that, especially if you know where

you want to go. Also there is a connection to the subway system, map on

line, that will take you to most sites that you will want to visit. Remember mid

afternoon in Singapore is very hot and humid and off times rains. Might be a good time for a late lunch. Also the street markets are fun and of course

safety is excellent in Singapore.

The need to have a towel package. We would pay extra for towels that

were better than then dollar store. We are thinking of bringing our own

for the next cruise. We will bring a couple of sets of towels and wash

them in the laundry. We are lucky to have three cases each for flights,

so this shouldn't be a problem.

Please note, you can walk apx. 200 meters to a tent cover, with a free port

shuttle. It will take you near the old port area. There is a bus or a pleasant

walk pass museums and a old fort about 500 meters. Turn to your right upon exiting. Easy to do. If you are there on Thursday thru Saturday a turn to your left, will take you to a square where there is a market set up.

We have found that the new norm for laundry is three days. There are so

many elites now. On our T/A this month we had over 1000 elites. Landry is

is a wonderful pert. so we never complain. The room attendant can make the

difference with the laundry getting it back.

Just finish a med cruise. NO nutella, to be found anywhere. Asked, then, we finally purchased a small jar off ship and brought it daily to the dinning room.

TSA Precheck use to work when coming in from an international flights. There was always a precheck line after c and I and recheck of your cases from international to domestic. A couple of days ago when we returned from Europe, there was no pre check line. When we inquired were told that all

precheck TSA have been shut down and the agents are now doing regular checks. The TSA agent did say, just out outside, and upstairs and get in the

domestic precheck line. This I guess is the new normal. A friend came though Atlanta at the same time as was told the same thing. Leave the area, go outside and re enter . It will be so much faster than having to remove all

items from case, shoes off and the like. This of course if you have a green check TSA pre on your boarding pass.

Barcelona is a very busy cruise pier, off times there are five ships in port.

That being said, the only way that you could get off and get a taxi and get to your hotel by 08:45, would be to take the early walk off and get a taxis. For taxis you will have to take at least two taxis as they are small. Unless, you luck out and get a suv it probably will be three taxis. You will be charged for each case in addition to you fare. The que at the taxi stand moves fast. On our cruise on the Royal everyone was late getting off, some not until 11:00.

If you do a walk off, you will have to handle your own cases.
