Tuscan has deteriorated so much over the years that we will no longer eat there even when it's included.

For a cruise departing either Tokyo or Yokohama, I would stay in Shinagawa. It's a wonderful area, right across from the Tokyo Terminal, and a short train ride to Yokohama.

However can you swop between devices on a single account?
Yes.

Not sure if any line is fully ready for paperless just yet.
I know that most, if not all, of the North American brands are. They do not want to see any paper - only your QR code in the app or sometimes just your passport.

We have two each of Red and Gold, Black and White, Roaring Twenties, and Masquerade on our upcoming 28-day sojourn. Most of them are easy for me, but I still have to figure out what to wear for Red and Gold. I have a red shirt that might go with my white tails and a red bowtie, but no gold at all. I do wish it was easier to transport a hat - I took one of my tophats on a QE Transpacific, but it was not easy.

I am also seeing 19 and 20 day Japan cruises on Diamond Princess. A bit long for myself...
They look like two cruises back to back with different itineraries...
We're doing that in June/July. It's two 9-day cruises back-to-back. In addition to the Japan ports, one makes a couple of stops in Taiwan, and the other has one stop in Korea.

I will need to collect fresh water ourselves, instead of our Steward delivering them.
Bottled water is not really fresh water (and is also wasteful). Fresh water is delivered every day to your washroom sink.

However, free caviar on Seabourn.
I have never understood the allure of caviar. We had unlimited free caviar on Silversea as well. Had it once and that was enough.

Old thread, but I didn't want to start a new one.
The Cunard FAQ (https://my.cunard.com/en-us/mycruise/QV/internetListing) states "If you wish to connect multiple devices to the Guest Wi-Fi simultaneously, you will need to purchase an internet plan for each additional device. Internet plans for additional devices are discounted." Does anyone know what the discount is?

In August 2022 during our cruise aboard the Summit (Reykjavik to Boston), we did not go to Isafjordur, Iceland due to strong winds (very risky for the tender), we did NOT receive a refund of the port charges.
Same here - and same cruise!
On a cruise last year, we missed a couple of ports while running from Hurricane Juan and sheltered in Boston Harbour to wait it out. We only expected to get port fees and taxes back, but I believe we got 25% of our cruise fare (or maybe more) as FCC on that one.

We usually get one holder. The only time we got two was on the Xpedition. Totes are about 50/50 these days for us.

We had a later flight out, so we booked the Everglades airboat excursion with MIA dropoff.

The thing to know about the menu / show (if not already aware) is that the food is paired specifically with the show (like the show may feature a character fishing in the sea or something like that, then you are served some fish - I meanin a fun Pixar type thing - not graphic realistic way if that makes sense).
Please do not sully the Pixar name by comparing it to LPC's amateurish attempt.

Quite honestly the show is great, but the food is average
The one time we did it, we found the show to be so-so, but the food was excellent.

We never use the Solarium and avoid walking through it because it's like a crowded steam room. So let the kids use it!

They will be docking at the terminal farthest from the city, roughly a 30 minute walk. The ships will now dock at Terminal B Moll d Adossat.
I don't know what the uproar is all about. We used this "new" terminal in 2021 and it was just fine.

We needed another thread on this, I’m sure

Due to kids school and sports schedule I need a July Japan cruise and as far as I know Celebrity is the only line that offered them the last few years.
We're on the Diamond Princess in June and July this year.

People should always be aware of restrictions for any country they are bringing things into, and always be honest with customs officials.
And this includes things you wouldn't expect. For example, you cannot bring your personal CPAP machine into Japan without authorization. The auth is easy to get, but it's somehting very few people would even think about. I never even knew about it until someone posted in our Roll Call.

Remember that Celebrity no longer has "all included". It's now "some included" or "a couple things included".

We were on the Apex in 2021 and very disappointed in both the Rooftop and Fine Cut. Then again, we've always been disappointed by Tuscan as well...

Excursion Trip Insurance Question
in Celebrity Cruises

Don't rely on what they've posted on their website. Hotel refund and cancellation policies are very clear as well, but I have received a full refund when an airline strike prevented us from traveling.
