  1. We are set to sail on October 5th and did not purchase insurance through Royal. My question is if it is too late to purchase through a third party like Nationwide? Do not need to hear you should have bought it, etc.. Simply asking if it can be still purchased. Our only reason for buying it this time is due to Covid cases starting to rise. The cruise was cheap and we are driving to the port so not the end of the world if we can’t get it, but figured it might be worth it. Thanks so much!
  2. I cannot believe they charge people almost $40 to decorate a cupcake. Seems like this is something that should absolutely be something they could charge like $5 to cover the cost of a cupcake or two. But as long as people pay it, they will continue to offer it. It is crazy to me.
  3. I would pick the extra night! Ships are similar and you can’t go wrong with either.
  4. Go! How bad it could be? And I am guessing it will wonderful! Any cruise in February is a win in my book.
  5. One concern out of NY/NJ with hurricane season is that I have heard a few times in the past where people booked cruise thinking they were going to the Caribbean or the Bahamas but because of hurricane wound up going to Canada (Nova Scotia). I do not believe this has happened a lot, but it is always a possibility since the cruise line reserves the right to change ports.
  6. Hi there! We will be in BH on Columbus Day on Liberty of the Seas. Last year we stayed in the area and did Cadillac Mountain and Acadia. We would love to go back, but think it might be easier this time to just stay in town or do something else because I am sure it will be jammed because it is a holiday weekend. I know of Ollie Tours, but not sure we want to do that and most excursions are sold out. Any other suggestions? Is there something to see in town we may not know about? Would renting an EBike or Gem car be worth it? Thanks for any suggestions!
  7. Another option could be two connecting cabins which would give you two bathrooms and kids could sleep in one room by themselves and you can leave the door open but still have a bit of privacy. Have fun!!
