If she would accept some responsibility for her actions it would be one thing, but she is saying(at least was saying, I haven't kept up over the last week since this originally dropped), that it was all 100% on Carnival despite HER posting the booking information and then having ALL of her personal information needed to create a fake account clearly posted on her Facebook profile.  

Really? I have never been able to do this with NCL.

Can you show me where? It is not on any NCL website reservation that I have had.

Also, in the FAQs is says they need to be done by telephone.

There are cruiselines that require a phone call to cancel a cruise. I know NCL does for sure.

I thought it was a pain to have to do that.

It may be more of a deterent, more to trace if something like this happens, albeit not perfect.

They are victims of a crime. Why are people blaming the victims? We have all done things that we could possibly end up being a victim just because. That is for a different discussion.

Not really funny if you have had a bathroom water backup on a ship because someone down the line did what they weren't supposed to do. It is disgusting. Then the maintenance people have to find what the issue is.

This is a very real problem on ships because of people choosing to be ignorant.

@cruising sister, Lorraine, sweetie Murphy looks great. It is a precious picture. She is growing up nicely; she looks healthy and happy.

Your little DGD looks alot like your side of the family. IMO, she has your eyes. So grown up now at 4yo having a solo sleep over.  No having to take her home during the night. Looks like you both had lots of fun. 😄

@Cruising-along Carolyn,  glad the water park was great fun with the boys. They are growing up nicely too! Good on you and Henry for keeping up with them at the Wolf Den!

It does sound like your dad is in good hands and they are giving him a thorough evaluation before any procedures or interventions and not being hasty. 

It can be a difficult time because the waiting is awful.

Air medical transports from a cruise ship are not that unusual. I have seen it many times over the years. Mostly in the Caribbean but also on a TA near Spain.

The air transport people are well trained and do an excellent job. Very impressive. 

I have also seen the US Coast Guard do rescues, in addition to the AF.

Hi to everyone on the Daily!

Life has been pretty busy but have been following along as best I can. Things have started to settle down. I am good though. Starting to plan some vacations for this Summer, Fall and next Winter! My calendar is filling up...😎

It has been raining here almost daily for the last 4 weeks, we are soggy but no bad storms like some of the states. That is just awful that is has been almost a daily event for them.

@JazzyV Vanessa, happy for you that your surgery has helped your pain and you seem to be recovering well. But, OMG about your BFF breaking his leg! When does the tough times ever end for you guys? You have my prayers and thoughts for things to settle down for you and your BFF. You are now entitled to normal and a bit boring in your life, just sayin'.

@cruising sister Lorraine, that is so sad about your friend's family tragedies. Wow. Lots of prayers for them. I hope you are doing well. 

I enjoy the messages from all of the vacationers and the cruisers because I always want to be on a cruise!  Now that I have been home for ~ a month, I am ready to go again. I believe my addiction is getting worse! 😜 

My big news from the GVAUS cruise is that I went from a 2* Mariner at the start and am now 5 points away from a 4* Mariner. A person can move along status quickly on those big cruises because of days and $$ spent. LOL!!

Again, my thanks to all contributors here; loving the memes and the knowlegde shared.

Prayers for all of us and extra prayers for those struggling with things, no matter what it is.

Lets all celebrate the joys and good things in our lives; we all deserve the good.

While, some of the characters he mentioned are ones we've all run into, the vast, vast majority of cruisers are....well....US.  We don't care about your status or your cabin.  Apparently, he felt that he was above us.  

 

He also made a point to mention he "wrote" Succession (a TV series I happened to have liked a lot).  So, he shouldn't be made to write about something so mundane.

I listened to the entire thing because I was waiting for someone to say something intelligent. It was total ignorance. It was based on lack of knowledge and a snapshot of his life, not even a total cruise etc. He seemed to not really look at the whole thing. 

Another example of the uneducated given a public forum. Not good people at all....too judgey.
