  1. Yes, those budget airlines especially throughout Europe, have some very special sizing when it comes to carry-on sizes. Luckily my back is always seem to work or I make it work. Haha Thank God for those tracking tags now.
  2. Yes!!!! Looking forward to some great photography opportunities while strolling around
  3. I'm on that sailing too! I just plan on walking throughout town, enjoying my stroll.
  4. No has nothing to do with flow of security. I've actually heard about the scanner issue with the Mayflower terminal for a few years, even pre pandemic. Their machines just Don't offer a large opening to put in bags over certain size. Like I said that was the issue in Copenhagen where they're scanners are really only big enough for like a backpack or a purse.
  5. See, that was my thought too! Thank you! I mean if anything then I feel like the Mayflower terminal needs to upgrade to a bigger scanner. Just think of how helpful I'm being by giving less luggage for the porters to have to deal with as well as those crew members moving all of that luggage around the ship. I'm what they call as a team player 😉
  6. Nothing wrong with enjoying the amenities of the ship. I know when I sail very frequently out of the Caribbean I never get off for it because I've been there more than a handful and dozen of times. I do enjoy the peace and quiet when the ship is all empty on port days.
  7. There are definitely more of them sailing than I think I've ever recalled because more and more people I meet they always tell me do not know how to get a free cruise and I find out they're usually in the players club. I've met several people who seem to be professional in the players club as they will spend almost an entire year sailing off of these comp cruises
  8. The dimensions of the bag that I'll be using and have never had a problem with and all my traveling years... Dimensions: 21''H x 14''X x 8.5''D
  9. No gelato cannot be substituted for the Sundays unfortunately
  10. So I posted in two other forum boards this question in the UK cruising as well as the British isles Western Europe ports with hopes that someone will respond. The one I look when people have left have been active on those ports unfortunately have not been in some time. This is when I say I love the Princess Cruise critics board because it's so active and everyone so friendly and quick to help which also helps with the excitement of things as well as getting answered to questions or concerns.
  11. Dress to impress is just another way of saying a formal night. But dressed as fancy as you'd like or more on the smart casual side whatever your most comfortable with. Princesses switched over to the dress to impress nights since the restart.
  12. They do mention how much they do win. They definitely walked away winning without a loss if I'm not mistaken but honestly it's been a while ago since I saw that video by La Lido Loca.
  13. Agreed. Cruising is definitely back in full force!
  14. I watched a YouTube video on this once. And the vlogger played $2,000 just on slots and then he was offered his first ever comped cruise offer
  15. Enjoy it while you can! Like I've said before, We are definitely very blessed and I know I'm grateful for the ability to travel
  16. That's exactly what I do. But I will admit I stop heading my luggage in as well at the end of the cruise and I will porter off, one less hassle of having to search for luggage. And my college years I used to work portside in Fort Lauderdale and I was the blessed one of being in charge of lost luggage. The key is to always make sure that your luggage looks different from others whether you tie ribbon or something on it as somebody's bags look so similar.
  17. Well it's not 100% based on the captains decision it's the Port authorities. I'm in complete agreeance safety first.
  18. Pretty sure I know the answer, but I just wanted to triple check.... Can I carry on my own luggage onto the ship if I'm sailing out of the Southampton Mayflower cruise terminal? State side I know it's not a problem at all. The only time I've ever encountered an issue where I physically had to hand my luggage over to be checked in was in Copenhagen, because the scanners were much too small for the luggage. My carry-on luggage does fit in the airplane overbends with no problem as well as in those metal racks that make sure your carry-on bag fits within the dimensions. Any help would be greatly appreciated on this topic.
