Yes either call the dining line to put yourself on a list or what I always do is is my first night and the main dining room I always talk to a maitre d / restaurant manager as they're happy to as well put you on a list by request

I was on the Discovery April 22-26. Internet t seemed to work just fine, but like you said yahoo mail wouldn't exactly load properly for the emails. I unfortunately did not attempt to stream a movie on the phone, which I wish I did. I'll be back on her in July.

Alaska is absolutely gorgeous! Totally agree you do need one that has an itinerary that stops at Glacier Bay. It is a magical site to experience, especially if this is a one and done type of itinerary. But I will Even if you could get a stop at hubard glacier / college fjord, I found that to be absolutely amazing as well.

It's still around! Just not as an appetizer but instead it's an entree. But same exact sizes the appetizer. I've always loved it as it is a beloved dish. Decadent and rich but so delicious

Absolutely love the ship! Just wish it had a crooners lounge for the extra seating. Otherwise it's fabulous!

For me personally I find the enchanted to be a better ship than the sky. Unlike the Enchanted the sky does not have a crooners lounge. And the skies photo gallery for whatever reason is rather large. They also shifted the location of the good spirits bar between the two ships. It's just very small minor differences otherwise

You are absolutely correct. It's funny because a lot of my favorite crew that I checked with as I'm back on the sky next month they were all getting ready to go home right before and right after the repositioning.

Same here. Was on the sky multiple times from November through March. Typically when a ship repositions it tends to be The end of a group of crew members contracts. Therefore seasoned and new crew members just take a little bit of time to get there feet back on the ground

It goes well above the internet managers head as well. Anytime I've asked him a question they never seem to have an answer. My favorite is when I asked when star link will be coming when they announced it was on its way and he says I have not heard such news of it coming at all 🤦‍♀️

A good question to ask for those sailing on a princess ship that has starlink in Alaska or Europe is are you able to stream any movies from your phone /device.

No! Crew tract is strictly on the medallion apps. And it does come in handy because if it's nothing that I need taking care of immediately or just a random question it is pretty nice to have that feature to do a quick chat versus having to wait in line

I personally love and always and only do carry on luggage. For me I like to quickly go to my cabin which is always ready when I'm bored so I could quickly unpack. In my mind once I have finished unpacking in 1.2.3. to my vacation has officially begun.

Also keep in mind, on the Enchanted they did away with the salty dog gastropub restaurant, and replacing it with O'Malley's which is like an Irish pub

From the amount of cruises and ships I've been on within the Princess fleet pre and post pandemic they seem to have done away with the pub lunch. However on the sky princess they have it on the lunch menu on one of the c days where they do off for lunch in the main dining room. So I thought that was a nice gesture. I did not see the same thing on the Enchanted the discovery or the majestic or Regal as of late
