  1. My God man - should they take blood samples at the pier? A full medical work up?

Just read this - ranking threats to Americans:

1 - Heart Disease and Cancer

    2 - Traffic Accidents

    3 - Guns

    4 - Climate Change

5 - World War III in the Baltics

    6 - The flu

    7 - ISIS

8 - your furniture falling on you or tipping over

    9 - ebola

How about gaining 1 pound per day on average on any cruise. I'll take my chances!

  2. Its been non-refundable and non Casino spendable on Cunard for as long as I can remember, and I have been in the situation of having $1300 OBC on a Transatlantic for 7 days and no ports so couldn't spend it on excursions.

    Now that was a problem.

Citizen Ecodrive Watches for the whole family was the answer, and I never regretted that purchase.

Princess sell them at a decent price as well. They are excellent watches which should last a lifetime with no winding up, batteries or servicing.

Outstanding idea! A nice Nikon camera would be good as well.

  3. What about keeping the information that gratuities are deductible from OBCs top secret? If we let the others know, Princess may change that policy! What about that shore excursions are deductible from OBCs? Again, if the others find out, the policy could change. This website is about passing on available information to other posters. The fact that casino charges are deductible from OBCs is readily available information and a long time Princess policy. I am happy when others pass on information to me and it is why I come to these boards.

If Princess stops deducting gratuities, shore excursions, soda cards or anything else from OBCs, we will all learn to use it on something else and move on. There is nothing wrong, illegal, loopholed, etc. with having a casino account to use your OBCs. Any suggestion to the contrary defies logic.

I am quite sure everyone following this thread got my original point. Well clearly not everyone. Nonetheless I am not going to continue to allow you to spar with me any furthur. It is an exersize in futility. Even my Kindle gets the point.

  4. Not MY policy. What part of Non Refundable do you not understand? BTW you missed my original point and that is I am sure Princess will eventually figure out by reading your screed what needs to be done. I did not say your creative methodology for thwarting their non refundable policy was an issue. I simply said that informing them was.

  5. Having been on 17 Princess Cruises this is actually one of my two complaints. We traveled on the Golden Princess in March 2013 and again in October as well as December. They we showing at least 70% of the same movies more than seven months later. My second complaint is the TV shows. Seven months later the same exact episodes of Modern Family and The Love Boat were still on. It was like being in my own version of the movie Groundhogs Day.

  6. Never:

Paid to eat in a Specialty Restaurant when the cruise price includes FOOD.

Stayed in a hotel in a port when the cruise price includes a CABIN.

Taken Trivia seriously. Really ... It is just a game people.

Weighed myself while on the ship.

Eaten just a Salad for dinner.

Complained that the portions were too small when I could order as many dishes that I want.

Left the dining room still hungry.
