The UK version of the Cunard website now says -
"Distilled water supply
Some equipment may require distilled water. Please be advised that we are unable to provide this on board, and recommend bringing your own supplies. Alternatively, you may wish to discuss a suitable alternative with your respiratory team or the manufacturer of your CPAP unit."
What rate type did you book ? There are different booking conditions and cancellation policies for different rates. Your booking confirmation will have the details.
The book I'm reading had a few chapters about a crossing on Queen Mary in September 1939. I was hoping more of the story would take place on the ship but there might be a return journey.
Definitely the right result on the day, the other 2 had a bad day and the winner peaked at the perfect time.

Yes of course, there are less activities going on but restaurants and bars will be open on port days.
You definitely won't be alone, people stay on board in port for all sorts of reasons.
Just to add, what an amazing first cruise experience you had !
