Have never used cruise line insurance. Always third party. Because of better medical coverage.🤷♀️

I believe I was told that to be covered for pre existing conditions, we would need to purchase the insurance within 10 days of deposit.

My concern with canceling before final payment, is that we will be out the amount of our insurance as we have to purchase after booking in order to be covered for pre existing conditions. Unless there’s a way around that?

If we book with the standard rate…looking at July 2024…and later decide we want the Plus package…will it be the same cost?

Good advice…the cruise I was looking at two weeks ago, and it is the one we want, has gone up $300 pp! Going to book it and hopefully re fare later at some point.Still has time to happen as final payment isn’t until April 2024.

Can’t believe it! Checked rates for a Canada/New England cruise in July of 2024, about 10 days ago. After confirming the trip with another couple, I check the rates yesterday & they had gone up almost $400 pp. Crazy! Maybe a future sale?
