  1. Just debating whether to try it out or not on our upcoming cruise.

I am generally happy with main dining room food.

Would probably go just for seafood if available, like steak and lobster.

What is your favorite meal, including appetizers and desserts, at the Steakhouse?

    Much appreciated!

  2. There is no pretty beach by the tender pier in Belize City. Pier is in the city and Belize City is a working city not a tourist city. There is a man made beach called Cucumber Beach in an area known as Old Belize. Mainly used by locals and there is a marina attached. You can google it for details.

As far as historical/colonial sites: there's the lighthouse and statue and a colorful Belize sign just to your right outside the tender pier gate. Or take a horse drawn carriage tour through the city. It will stop at the old Anglican Church and the Cultural Museum across the street, which is housed in the old Governors Mansion. Lots of artifacts. You can see the yacht and the cannon on the parade ground as you come into the pier. Not far away at all, maybe a mile walk.

Thank you so much for your concise and so helpful response....just what I was looking for:)

  3. Hello you all!

After reading everything that was ever written about St. Thomas, San Juan, Amber Cove and Gran Turk,

and recent events in my home town, I am pretty much exhausted.

I did try to go through previous threads, wasn't very successful to find a pretty beach by the port.

Is there such a thing or what do you recommend not too far from there just to relax.

Is there anything historical/colonial close by, safe and worthy to visit.

    Really appreciate any suggestions.

    Thanks!!

  5. I have an iPhone....don't know much about android. But I think you have to allow it in your phone security/privacy settings. Location service might not be enough, you probably need to go in deeper into app permissions/location permissions and look for the Drivewise app.

  6. If you go to settings on the app and turn off standby mode, and let it track you for a few trips a day for a couple of days, it should give you 10000 points.

It could be a trip to the store or the next red light. The app doesn't need to track you all day. A few short trips over a day or to should do the trick. The reason I was concerned is because I have limited data.

  7. Sheal,

I also am not an Allstate policy holder.

I have never seen e-cards in the app.

The e-cards that I have purchased (5 of the $500.00 ones) in about 3 transactions, have all come to my email address within minutes of purchase.

  8. In port between 1:00 to 10:00 PM in late October. We plan on visiting the Forts first. What would you add afterwards for a couple of hours? Will it get dark early? Any must see in Old San Juan? Not really interested into spending much time at any restaurant or bar.

    Thanks!
