  1. If you take the 100% refund, all monies will eventually be returned via the same method of payment (credit card, gift card).

If the FCC offers are the same as previous cancellations, for 6+ day sailings you will get 100% FCC + 600 OBC.  5 days or less = 100% FCC + 300 OBC.  Carnival will HOLD the FCC + OBC for you up until a certain time limit (It will say on the offer Ex: DEC 31,2020).  If you do not rebook with your FCC+OBC by the deadline, you will automatically get just FCC (no OBC).

  2. What is the process to notify the cruise ship that you have added another cruise week to your already booked cruise.

We have never done a B2B, but already had a cruise booked and now we are booking the cruise right before ours too.  So essentially making it a B2B (although there is a change in cabins).

There is generally a "holding area" for B2B'ers during disembarkation day, how do I get this information?

Thanks for the pointers...I"ll take a look..I'm on the same page in regard to " it will be there when you get onboard." Would be a pretty rude awakening.... Looked at our documents online...did not see the $600, is there some certain area where it will show the $600? I can see the invoice page but no mention of the $600.

Have your PVP resend your booking confirmation to you, it should be updated with the OBC listed on the statement.

Yes, frozen drinks (with or without alcohol) count as one of the 15 drinks.  So do the specialty coffees offered in the coffee bar - cappuccinos, lattes, etc.  Love the coffee bar!

Sodas are included in the Cheers package and do not count as one of the 15 drinks.

Zero Proof and Specialty coffees DO NOT count towards the 15 drinks if you have CHEERS.  Any non-alcoholic drink will not be applied to the 15 count.

You need to contact the Casino Department, not the general call center.  While they may not cancel the booking, they may remove all the extras.

Im not concerned about the extras, as this offer is specifically just a reduced fare (and not the "DOU + FunPlay).

  6. I ended up finally getting through to Carnival customer service.  I may call back a few more times to make sure the answer is consistent.

If the NO Show passengar is the one who the rate applied to, and doesnt show up, nothing happens to the other guests in the booking.  The taxes + port charges would be refunded + and ANY prepurchased excursions, Funshops AND Cheers.

So I can get a REALLY good price for a cruise using my son's Casino rate. But he "might not be able to go". Would they honor the cheap fare if he's a no show? Or would they "adjust" the fare when I show up solo? Any info or advice appreciated.

This is a scenario I have been trying to get an answer to as well, except it is a party of 3 and the possible no show passanger is the person whom the Casino rate is applied to.

If it is a casino offer and the person that is receiving the offer is a no show, I’m pretty sure the booking would be cancelled or you would have to reimburse.

I’d call the player’s club to be sure.

That is what I am worried about.  But not sure how Carnival can "cancel" the booking once we are already boarded on the ship.  I know we will be out the 1st persons fare.  I was hoping someone on this board had this scenario happen and could provide some advice.

My son decided last minute he did not want to go on our trip. Just go down to guest services after the ship leaves port and tell them the 3rd person didn't show up. You will be out the ticket cost but they will remove the port fees and taxes

I wonder if they would remove the person from the stateroom listing too, that way we could still buy cheers, but only for the 2 people who showed up.

  10. If 1 person who was in a booking of 3, decides to be a no show, what, if any, are the issues.

The "no show person" is whom the offer and booking was booked under.

Cheers would be purchased on board, but would they actually count the "no show" as a guest and the remaining 2 passengars be required to buy 3 cheers packages?

Or can cheers be purchased ahead of time and then "no show" get a refund of the purchased amount for Cheers.

Ok, so we would only be interested in family pics of either hubby and I, the 4 kids (split between cabins) and all 6 of us.  So as long as at least 1 person from the cabin is in the picture, it can be used with this package.  Thank you so much!

If minors are in a different cabin, they can be in a picture without the 1 person from the cabin the pixel package was assigned too.  For example, I book two cabins (me + husband = cabin 1 (I buy the pixels pkg) &  2 kids = cabin 2).  The Kids in cabin 2 can take photos on their own / together and we do not need to be in the photo.

  12. It changed about 2 months ago, unfortunately.  It will show up under your booking details once you "purchase" the reservation.

I had reserved the steak house back in August for a Sept cruise and it was they old way (reserving and getting an email) and then in October to reserve the steakhouse for a December cruise and it was the new process.

  13. We book our kids in their own cabins all the time and have been since they were little (around age 7) and never had a problem.  There are restrictions to the location of the cabin and these restrictions can be found directly on the Carnival Minor Guest Policy page.

    • Guests 12 and younger
If the relative or guardian insists on booking separate staterooms, minors must either be directly across the hall or next door. Guests 12 and under may not be assigned to a balcony stateroom without a relative or guardian (25 years of age or older) traveling in the balcony stateroom with them.
    • Guests 13 - 17 years of age
Can be separated by up to 3 staterooms from a relative or guardian (25 years of age or older).
    • Guests 18 – 20 years of age
Do not have any restrictions and may book whatever location they prefer

  14. In my preparations for our upcoming NYE cruise, I went online to add the bottomless bubbles to my kids (12 & 15) booking - They are in their own cabin.

Right before checking out, I noticed the price was a little higher than our last recent cruise.  So I clicked on the shopping cart.  The website is charging my 15 year old the adult price ($8.50) instead of the child price ($5.95).  I verified online that 1. his DOB is correct (perhaps there was a typo) 2. that age limits for bottomless bubbles kid pricing is 17 and under before calling the Carnival Funshops.

    It gets weirder from here.

Rep on phone 1st said that minors cannot be in a cabin alone without an adult booked (not true) and the website is automatically programmed to charge atleast 1 adult price (also not true, as we just got off a cruise where we purchased the bubbles program for our kids in their own cabin).

So I asked to be transferred to someone else - 2nd rep said 1st rep didnt know what he was talking about and that she would override and place the order through their system, with both bubbles packages being at child pricing.  GREAT - She asked for my credit card.  I said I have a Carnival Gift Card - Her response was "oh, you cant purchase items through the funshops with a gift card"  (not true).  I literally just got done ordering the Cheers package for my cabin with a Carnival GIft Card.

I still havent been able to purchase the bottomless bubbles for the two kids, with kid pricing.  Anyone else ?

Also make sure you check your shopping cart online before making payment.

I told my 15 year old that they are now charging him adult pricing due to his consumption on the last cruise --- lol.

If I were to purchase $100 in cruise cash and I still have some cash left on my account toward the end of the cruise, can I use my sail pass in the ship's casino to buy chips and then cash in whatever chips I have left for cash in order to use up my "onboard credit"?

Do not convert your cruise cash by purchasing casino chips ... there is a 3% charge fee at the tables to get chips.  Its best to transfer money from your sail & sign account to your casino account via the slot machines, then cash out your players bank at the casino cage.

  16. The only possible option is to book the 8th person in the room with the existing 4 (5 berths are available on some inside staterooms).  The manifest is set prior to sailing.  The "switching" rooms is only for key card access to another room other than the one you booked on.  So the "switching" rooms could take place after sailing, but each person will still be recorded for the original stateroom, meaning any attempt for the Non-Cheers cabin occupants to purchase Cheers will only be granted if all occupants over the age of 21 purchase it.

  17. I dont have an Iphone.  However on my last cruise a few weeks ago, we met a couple who were using I-Message to communicate between each other.  Airplane Mode = On & Wi-Fi = On.  They did not purchase any additional Chat/Internet services.
