The Royal Refreshment and Royal Replenish packages don't typically go on sale.

Thats what i figured. I went back and double checked the email.

Heading says "20% off beverages packages" But when you get further into the email, it shows the 20% for all the alcohol packages, and then says, "more all inclusive drink packages. But no sale price listed.

Shouldn't have gotten my hopes up.

Can you buy drinks from the machines?? Like all the non caffeine options

The website says $8 per day. Which is what I always thought it was. However yesterday I got an email that ALL packages are 20% off. Now I know that the alcohol packages are not truly 20%. Have read the threads on here and know that its off the "onboard" price.

But the reservation, still shows the sale price on those packages.

However, it does not show any sale on the soda packages.

I have never bought a soda packages, mainly because I cannot drink caffeine. HOwever, this will be our first time sailing a ship with the soda machines and I read all the caffeine free options. Sounds like something I may be interested in.

Are they really on sale at all? I know I can call, but normally the people here know more than the ones on the phone!!!

Wow, didn't realize that the restaurants that they charge you to dine at, now include menu items that the charge you again for. Amazing all the add ons Royal continues to add.

Guess that is why we have avoided these restaurants for several years.

We also have a TA certificate for free specialty in November. Now to decide which restaurant to try.

We always put our ship's tags on before leaving home and have never had a problem, even when changing planes from CLT to ATL to Honolulu. I laminate ours and attach them with cable ties and have never had one rip off. If you fold the paper ones, they may be ripped off, however.

I agree. Despite everyone on here always saying to wait. I see no difference between my cruise tag and all the other name tags, ribbons, straps, things people put on their luggage to make them stand out.

I like the fact that if my luggage doesn't make it on the correct flight, someone, in the land of lost luggage, will see my cruise tag and know where to send my luggage to find me.

Have always put my on before leaving home, and always pack a couple extra just in case, but have never needed them.

Well, finally good news.

As of last night, the request to turn 100,000 points into a $1000 credit on my balance due was finally applied.

I redeemed the points on July 13. My final payment is Aug. 29th.

I now have a zero balance :) :)

Just in case anyone is interested this is the law. Reason why we have Alaska cruises making stops in Canada, or starting in Vancouver. Hawaii cruises also restricted from US.

If I'm reading the website right, it looks like there is a day in between??

Does the ship just sit in Canaveral overnight, or does it sail around empty and then come ito Fort Lauderdale the next morning??

We will be on the first 8 day. No clue what the order will be.

But can anyone tell me if they change things up at all when you stay in port for the evening?? We stay in San Juan until 9PM.

OK, we have done both also. Has been quite a few years since the last AI.

Got hooked on cruising in 2008 and hard to break the habit.

Now we are wanting to take the whole family on vacation. Daughter is a school teacher, so the only month we can go is June.

Looking into cruise. It has been my dream for the last couple years to give them all the whole cruise experience. Just starting to get some prices for both Royal and NCL for second week of June. Would be paying for 3 cabins. Ours would be the only balcony, the other three would be OV. The really kicker is the three grand daughters (age 1,4,&6) Prices we have found so far are looking like we would spend $13000-15000. And that is without any excursions or any precruise hotels. (airfare will be with miles)

I really really really want my kids to all experience a cruise. But I am like the OP. I think it is time to start looking at AI's again.

I wanted to update everyone regarding my daughters lost engagement and eternity rings. RC phoned her yesterday - apparently the rings are in transit but they are not sure when or if they will eventually arrive at head office. We disembarked Anthem of the Seas 4 weeks ago today. Hopefully all will work out well in the end.

I use a regular laptop. Not sure if CC changed something or maybe its a laptop problem. But it only happens on this site. And its always Tim Hortans!!

It doesn't always come up, but about 50% of the time I click on a thread and the commercial/sound starts in. No way to end or exit the commercial. Only thing I can do is hit the refresh button. Most times that takes care of is, but sometimes not.

Really getting frustrated, and starting to stay off this site just because its so annoying.

In April we were on the Navigator and I thought there was something in our Emerald coupons for so much off. Is it really better to do it ahead??? Or wait and see if there are specials on board?????

Over a month ago I redeemed 50k points to get $500 credit towards the balance on our upcoming cruise. Final payment with TA was July 28th and still no credit. Called redemption center yesterday and they told me it should have been applied 2 weeks ago. They tell me that if the credit is not applied by Aug 28th they will refund my credit card $500. I do NOT want this since I have a zero balance on the credit card. We stopped using it for one that has much better rewards.

Assume you mean that you had to pay the full amount since the credit was not there?? That is exactly what my TA is wanting me to do also. Our final payment date is not till 8/29 (but thats a monday) So they want all money by 8/26. So far my credit has not shown up. Will call again later today.

Been out of Port Everglades numerous times, but never pay attention to terminal numbers.

Is 18 the smaller one that is all the way to the back?? Did that one once on the Liberty and it took forever to get there. Traffic was so backed up. Partly our fault as we waited till 1:00 (never again)

On the same cruise as the OP, so it will be a Saturday leaving and a Sunday coming home. Guess the bigger ships get the nicer terminals.

Is is terminal 18 that also gets so backed up with customs when leaving the ship??
