  1. Welland - I found it.

Sent from my iPhone using Forums mobile app

Thank you so much. My friends who are cruising next week thank you too.

Hope you have an internet package. Sure other CC members on here appreciate your reviews, comments, etc.

Continue to enjoy....hope the weather is cooperating too.

  2. Here is tomorrow's (day 3 icy strait). I'll give today's summary soon.

Glad you are both enjoying your first cruise.

When you provide your latest updates could you possibly provide a listing of the Senior Officers. You would have received this information in print form on the first day of your sailing, along with your first daily planner.

If you don't have it but can retrieve names from crew or guest relations desk would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks and continue to enjoy your well deserved vacation.

  3.

Sorry, met the others, but cannot remember their names and we did not get the sheet with their names and pictures yet.

Weather forecast is rainy and cool

    Hope this helps

Thanks for the prompt response. During your stay if you happen to have a moment to fill in the "blanks" it would be greatly appreciated.

Hope the weather improves for you.

  5. We are also on this very same cruise as Photosg and are in the Penthouse. I will echo many of the previous comments they made.

Seems you are enjoying and that is great.

Wondering if you could answer the following for me in respect of who is presently on board.......Captain, Staff Captain, Hotel Director, Guest Relations Manager, Captain's Club Host.

Would really appreciate any info you can provide.

    How's the weather forecast?

    Thanks and continue to enjoy.

  6. I know that I've read that people have traded in their sparkling wine that is left in the room for something different. We don't drink alcohol at all. Has anyone traded it for OBC or anything else? I figured we could give it to someone but thought I'd ask if anyone has traded it for anything besides a different wine.

It is worth a few dollars.....you won't get an OBC for it. Perhaps ask your stateroom attendant to change it for a few bottles of water for you. If not, give it to a "neighbour".

    Enjoy your cruise. :-)

  7. The copy describing the voyage has been changed from St Anthony to St John's, and the map has been updated as well. The last bit we need to change is the word "tendered" to "docked" in the actual itinerary. Apparently this is a bit more complicated.

Thanks Bonnie for having this looked after. I am quite confident that if anyone is looking at this itinerary, now seeing, St. John's, that they will realize that the ship will be docked versus tendering.

Do appreciate the timeframe in which this was corrected. :-)

  8. Hi Welland,

thanks for pointing this out. Someone just missed that in the text I assume. I'll let them know in the morning. I do see the itinerary detail is correct (except perhaps for that 'tendering' which I'll check as well.)

And I apologize for the delay in responding. I've been on a weekend road trip. I am just back to my desk now. I'll see what else I missed since Saturday!

    Thanks Bonnie.

Enjoy the back roads of Mexico.

  9. Uncertain if you are looking to book this voyage, if you are your only hope is a cancellation, as it has been fully booked since October 2014.

If you have booked, why not join us on the Roll Call.

Thanks for the info about being booked.

Friends were looking at it a few days ago and they booked.

I will mention the roll call to them. Thanks for the heads up.

  10. Welland,

Not sure where you are looking, but I've just downloaded the newest Land Discoveries brochure and that is up to date.

    http://browse.azamaraclubcruises.com/shoreExcursions/brochure/view.do?_ga=1.110188486.255195667.1441521095

When you go to the North American site for "Plan a Voyage" this is what comes up for the September 9, 2016 cruise on the Quest. The second paragraph on this page states St. Anthony. Great that the Lad Discovery brochures are up to date however if someone is looking at this to book they necessarily would not see the excursion brochure until after booking.

Hoping that Bonnie can have this page corrected as well.

  11. Bonnie: not sure who I should direct this to.

Just looking at the September 9/16 cruise on the Quest. Your website (as per attached) still shows the following: "Upon arrival in North America, you’ll have a full day in St. Anthony, Newfoundland, ideal for whale watching or taking a tour of the numerous icebergs". Sure you are aware that St. Anthony has been removed from the itinerary and replaced with St. John's.

    Hope this is helpful. :-)

  12. Originally we were going to have the same room for our upcoming med b2b but a good deal for a suite gty so we jumped on it.

My wife is now getting stressed over turn around day as we have a 8:30 excursion booked prior to upgrading so hopefully getting some answers will help.

Question for those that have gone from a non-suite to suite for b2b.

Is it possible to secure your luggage or getting it stored some where since chances are the room that we're moving into for the 2nd leg will not be vacated by the time we need to get off the ship for excursion? We do travel with a lot of electronics.

Anyway to engage the butler a day early prior to the 2nd leg to get him to help us with the process of securing/moving stuff?

    Thanks for the answers.

Have moved staterooms on B2B's many times. Don't sweat the small stuff. :-) Speak with your current stateroom attendant an ask him/her to advise the butler who is assigned to your new room and explain that you have an 8:30 am excursion.

A lot depends upon how quickly the current occupants of the suite leave on disembarkation day.

You can be assured though that the stateroom attendants and the butler will look after everything. You may wish to make arrangements to have your items put into the safe in the new room and leave the rest to be done when you are on your excursion.

Honestly, just enjoy and tell your wife not to worry.

    Enjoy the "suite life".

  13. Captain is Yannis Berdos.

    Staff Captain is Xenakis Damianos.

    Chief Engineer is Iaannis Nionakis.

    Cruise Director is Sara Romera.

Guest Relations Manager is Ana Hura.

Hotel Director is Jan Willem Kuipers.

Food & Beverage Director is Sheldon C Martin.

    Executive Chef is Victor Mancilla.

Michael's Club Concierge is Erick Guzman

Captain's Club Hostess is Alexandra Fataccioli

Many thanks for posting the senior personnel.

  14. We are in 8106 starboard side. Shows are at 7 and 9 PM.

Thanks for offering to answer questions about Infinity.

Know someone else has asked about staff on board; perhaps you did not see that post.

Can you kindly provide name of Captain, Staff Captain, Hotel Director, GRM, Captain's Club Host, Cruise Director.

    Many thanks.

  15. We are after final payment on our Alaska cruise/Post cruise tour. We have #1138 Aqua 1 on the aft booked - a coveted balcony for Alaska.

Right now we could pay $340 dollars (total) to upgrade to a suite guarantee - keeping our $300 OBC, free Bev, Grats and gaining free intranet. I realize that we will most likely end up with a Sky 2 - but having had a S1 once - oh that extra space is nice, the butler service is great and now they have the suite restaurant and Michael's Club.

Would you give up an Aqua aft cabin in Alaska for a Sky suite?

Most definitely. However, the longer you wait your decision may be made for you if someone helps gets the "deal" first. Remember, the early bird gets the worm. Go for it.

  16. I'm not sure. As soon as someone posts a sighting, I'll update the chart.

I just know that Emma took over on Sunday.

Summit Captain's Club Hostess Ashley is presently on vacation. If her husband is moved to another ship she in all likelihood will be there as well. She has just started her vacation so time will tell.

    Yes, Ashley is fabulous!!!!!

  17. The title says it all. What did Celebrity do with the Normandie memorabilia that used to be placed at the entrance of the Normandie restaurant (original wall panel, etc) and the Normandie statue in the MDR?

    Thanks

Some of the memorabilia is supposedly being displayed in a showcase near the casino. The original wall panels were to be carefully removed, packed and shipped for use elsewhere within the fleet (would assume the new Edge class ships). The statue of Normandie was to remain in the restaurant.

As the ship has returned from dry dock and there is a charter on board this week, perhaps during the following week someone will report back.
