  1. My husband, myself, and our 6yr old daughter are booked in a family JS for 10 days in May. The selling point for us was the 1.5 baths. Not even because us girls spend a lot of time getting ready, but because no matter if my daughter just went, she always seems to have to go as soon as my husband goes in.

Of course the extra space is a plus as well! The balcony is big enough for us (even if it's smaller). I figured for the amount of time we are on the balcony, I'd rather have the extra space inside.

  2. Thanks for your review! We are leaving on Sunday on the same ship/itinerary

You had to pay $20 to rent an umbrella on CocoCay? Last time we were there (several years ago), lounge chairs and umbrellas were free. Are there any shady places where lounges are set up?

We were there last April and there were tons of shady spots under trees. We considered getting an umbrella when we arrived but wasn't necessary where we set up. I guess it depends when you get there.

  3. Looking forward to this! Will be on Anthem in 2 weeks! If you go to coco cay can you tell me if there is the drop off kids club on the island? No one seems to know yet on the boards? And food reviews would be awesome!!

We were there last April and there was drop off kids club. We didn't do it but we definitely looked into it and was planning on doing it if needed to for our daughter.

  4. You'll have to wade through Anthem reviews to see if someone may have posted them - those are very rarely posted, for any ship. You might have better luck asking a specific question that someone may be able to answer.

Oh ok thank you! I went back a bunch of pages and then decided it was easier to just ask.

I wanted to book dinner reservations and was trying to get an idea of what activities my daughter would want to go to as to whether to include her for certain nights.

Not a big deal, just figured it was worth a shot to ask.

  5. Keep checking the price in your cruise planner. I booked a 1 device package for our Oasis cruise in a few weeks many months ago at £6.60. I checked last week and the 2 device package was £9 so went with that. Just checked today and a 1 device package is £4 so bought that for both of us. Strange how it keeps changing.

    I'll keep checking! Thanks!

  6. You are not missing anything. If you need to have 2 devices connected at the same time then purchasing 2 single device packages is the way to go.

Thanks! I figure having 2 devices between the 3 of us should be good! That gives my husband and I access to one and my daughter the other. I need something to occupy her (Netflix) so we can sleep till maybe 7:30 during the 10 days :)

  7. One device for my sailing went down to $8.99 but 2 devices are $21.99. When I go to purchase 2 devices my total is $197.91 while I can purchase 2 individual 1 device packages and my total is $161.82.

So... unless I'm missing something, wouldn't it make sense to buy separate 1 device packages and save $36?

  8. i am getting married in port before we leave on royal caribbean and i haven't really had too many issues at all. i have also enlisted a kick ass travel agent to do all the dirty work for me with RR. i don't have high expectations and am pretty good with going with the flow. i have about the max allowed coming to the wedding (150: 75 sailing, 75 non-sailing) and haven't had a difficult time at all! every situation is different though, i went in this whole thing not expecting too much so i have been pleased thus far!
