I wouldn't doubt it. This happens so often that they probably used a photo from before just to give the news. 2000 have been caught since October. Unfortunately, they all get sent back since the "wet foot dry foot" policy was terminated on January 12, 2017.

We always stay at The Pig in the Wall. Lovely boutique hotel. Check their website and see if it's something you would like. Walking distance to a shopping center nearby and restaurants. We already booked our 3rd stay there.

We decided to go with the Plus. It will probably pay for itself. As far as wifi, I will take my ipad and do some work if possible, if not, it will have to wait. That's why it's called vacation! 😎

We watched a video last night of a frequent cruiser that was on the Sky Princess. He said the wifi was very good and one of the fastest he has ever used. From your comments, I think the main problem is the location. .I am not basing our trip on whether I have wifi or not, if it's bad then I will do less work or none at all. The difference is that I will return to more work waiting for me. But, it will be worth it. 🙂 Thank you very much for your help.

Do they make you go to a certain area of the ship to have better reception?

This will be cruise #41 for us, so when everyone we have talked kept telling us how rough the seas are to Iceland, we wanted to know what cruisers on CC have experienced. Gives us an idea if it's ALL THE TIME or a hit and miss. We'll give it a try and hope for the best. Thank you for sharing your experiences.

I went on the Princess website and all I got was an explanation of the three options. Thank you for your responses. We're considering the May 2023 - 14 nts cruise to Norway and Iceland. We will have 6 sea days. My husband drinks wine with every meal. I may order a strawberry daiquiri. We do love to drink cappuccino and remember doing that a lot when we had a package. We are platinum. I do need to get the wifi. Since we're going to have so many sea days, I will need to do some work. It eases the return to the office. 🙂 I will put the numbers together and see if it's worth it. I like the convenience of not having to worry about it, but it's $1,400 more, so if we're not going to use it to the max, I'd rather save the money to spend it on something else. 😁

We're trying to decide if to take the Standard or Plus ? We don't want the Premier. Does anybody know what is the cost for the wifi (1 device) and the gratuities for a balcony for 2 on a 14 days cruise? The difference in value is $700, we just want to see if this is worth it. We found a very nice cruise for May 2023 that leaves out of Southampton and goes to Iceland and Norway. Has anyone taken this cruise? My husband suffers from motion sickness so it's a concern about how rough the seas can be in this area since it's going to take 3 days to get back to Southampton from Reykjavik. We're looking for cruises out of Singapore in May 2023. All we found are cruises that are 3-4 days to Penang & Phuket. We would like to spend 4 days in Singapore then take a cruise that ends in S. Korea or somewhere in that area that puts us closer to fly back to the US. We're also open to a 7-9 days cruise that goes back to Singapore. But we don't see many cruises being offered. Has anyone done this route before? If it exists, then maybe we can wait until it's offered again which hopefully will be in another 1-2 years. Thank you.

We looked at the seats on AA first and saw that they still have PE seats available for the one way since our plan was to take a transatlantic cruise. We then went to EZair and selected PE to get the quote. But I read on another post that they were trying to select their seats on AA, but EZair had not paid for their reservation so that's why they were not able to see in on AA to select their seats.

The three days would be Friday if you're sailing on Monday. We would prefer to do the BinaxNow at home on Friday before leaving the US. Just in case you get a positive, you can cancel instead of having to quarantine in Rome.

We just tried to book with a CVP and he was not able to get us anything different than what we got booking online on our own. Actually his quote was a bit higher than what we were getting online for the same type of cabin, same deck. The worst part is dealing with the pushy attitude and the arrogance when we don't like something and want to change it. We decided to cancel it and book it on our own if we decide to stay with Princess. He didn't even bother to respond to our cancellation request to say it was done, or thank you but call me if you change your mind. From now on we will continue to book online with Princess. We have an amazing CVP on HAL that finds a lot of good savings and options for us. Even after being booked she will contact us if there is a better option we can change to or a good package that comes up. This is what has kept us booking with HAL for the last couple of years. We thought we try Princess this year, but if we do, from now on we will do it on our own. We have never used the medallion, but there are a lot of videos on youtube that are very informative.

We have never booked our flight with Princess using EZAir. We have a couple of questions on how this works. We want to fly with American Airlines booking premium economy seats. Once we book with EZAir, it says that we have to go to the airline to choose our seats. Does the airline charge separately to choose a seat and will any issues be addressed directly wil the airline or will they send us to talk to Princess? Thank you very much for your help!

We have purchased the BinaxNow from the optum store and emed and have used it three times. Twice to return from Spain and once to get on a cruise here in FL. We received them the next day. You may want to call both of them and ask for sure when you will get it. It's very easy to do in the comfort of your home or hotel. You go to emed.com and click on start test. They instruct you on what to do. Don't open the box until they tell you. After 15 minutes, they read the results, which you can see if you have 2 lines it's positive, 1 line on the top is negative. Then they email you the results in pdf format so you can open and print it. Good luck!

Spain requires a form like that to enter, but at no charge. We have gone twice and each time all we had to do is fill out a form letting the govt know the dates of our vaccinations and our contact information in Spain. As soon as you submit the form, you get an email with a form that has a QR code and/or you can download the pdf from the website. It looks more like Bermuda just wants to make sure your $40 payment goes through your cc. 😉
