  2. I have a few requests, if it's too much don't worry about it.. just if you happen to take pics of these I'd love to see them:

Post a copy of the daily activities including youth (for our 16yo).

A photo of gluten free options on the menu (if you can.. no biggie, I already requested it ..I just hope they are as good as the other items)

Which soft drinks/coffee are included in ship fare?

Places to get free alcoholic drinks (like the receptions and such)

Thanks and have a great time!

I'll do my best to get all this info.....

  3. Also, need to be aware, since it is ES, if there is a price drop and you apply for the price drop, you will have to pay the full deposit, and will lose OBC, unless it is also included in the new fare rate.

Lots of people don't know this, and then come her and vent.

These reduced deposits are a very common way to get people to book, and then within a couple of weeks, there will be price drops, so just beware and watch for it.

Yes, I have found out this myself. I usually will book with reduced deposit, then watch for a few weeks for price drops then pay rest of deposit and get price drop. If I do this early then I always end up with the lowest price up until I cruise. I don't get any more price drops but I'm still paying the lowest price in the end.

  4. What time did you get off the ship? I'm trying to make arrangements with the shuttle company for pick up. At this point, one room will have to self assist and one FTTF.

Sent from my iPhone using Forums

We were off the ship by 8:30. We did self assist. Anyone can do self assist, doesn't matter if you're platinum, FTTF, or other. So both of your cabins can get off together if you both do self assist....) Enjoy your cruise!!!

  5. I always book my groups with ES rate and monitor for any price reductions and submit them up until their cruise date. You can book a group during a reduced deposit sale and pay the reduced deposit to book into group. TA's will offer amenities for groups, but Carnival will not. A group is normally 8 cabins. Although as long as 5 end up sailing in the end you still get to keep the amenities. There is a list of amenities to choose from onboard credit, bottles of wine, bath robes, cocktail parties, beach bags, and more. You can choose what you want. You can even split your amenity points and get more than one. For example my last group got $75obc, but they could have taken $50 obc and a beach bag. The group leader can decide. Just let me know if you have anymore questions I can help you with....)

  6. It may just be a reduced deposit not $50 dep. I have access to the agents booking engine and nothing has been posted of $50 deposits yet. Although towards the end of the month is when you usually see the reduced deposits. Actually the best way to get the cheapest rates is to book early, like one and a half to two years out. If you do that your rate will probably be the lowest it will ever go.)
