  1. I recently read Royal Caribbean has now changed from the three complimentary 5pm - 8pm happy hour cocktails to unlimited cocktails during those hours.

    1.  Wondering if anyone knows if this is true.

    2.  Are the included cocktails available throughout the ship including the MDR?

    3.  Does anyone have a list of the complimentary cocktails?

    Thanks in advance.

  2. There will be 3 ships in port the day we dock in Key West. It looks like we will dock at the "Old Mole," which is located in the the Truman Annex.

If someone has docked here in the past could you tell me what to expect with the shuttle?

How often does it run. Where do they drop us off?

We are planning on meeting my sister and her husband who will already be in Key West. DH and I have no idea where we should tell them to meet us or how long to expect it to take us to get to wherever that is.

  3. I have a question about Labadee. RCCL is renting "beach lounger for 2".

From what i have read they are strategically placed on Adrenaline Beach which is quite rocky and shallow, not really good to spend time in the water.

We were there several years ago and was able to rent a "clamshell" on Columbus Cove beach when we arrived early after we arrived at Labadee.

I am wondering if can we still rent a clamshell in the Columbus Cove area once we arrive or is the only way to get one is to rent one as an excursion which would put us on Adrenaline Beach?

What is Nellie's Beach & Barefoot Beach like? Can we rent clamshells on either of these beaches when we arrive. If we can't rent clamshells on a beach other than Adrenaline Beach which nice sandy beach has a good amount of shade?

i am thinking about going to Wonderland the 2nd night of our cruise next year. It will be our 40th wedding anniversary..

I am wondering if you can book Wonderland as the BO/GO special for the first two nights. Or if they have a half off special on night 2?

  6. I think it has to be within 12 months. Keep in mind they will charge your card at the time of purchase for specialty dining and excursions.

We already booked & paid for the excursions, I am hoping by the time specialty dining becomes available to book they allow you to use OBC when ordering pre-cruise.

  7. The other 7 nights are a mix of casual and smart casual. It was not easy to tell the two apart. The only really different nights are the two formal nights. Shorts and tank tops are never allowed in the MDR. Pretty much anything goes in the Windjammer except bathing suits and bare feet.

There is a place you can drop off your carryon luggage until your rooms are ready. Just ask at the customer service desk and they will tell where it is. We were on the Grandeur this last August and I remember someone asking me if we would like to check our carry on luggage but can not remember where it was since we did not use the service.

    Thank you flowers44 :)

  8. Port Canaveral is open for business, and has been since 10/8.

I didn't word my post correctly. I know the port is open, however our stop is just for the day and I am wondering what the area is like. DH and I bought excursions (transportation to and from Cocoa Beach) I am wondering wether it is worth doing the excursion or if it would be better to cancel it. We are not planning on swimming...basically just spending a few hours walking around the area.

...the same with Charleston SC, except we didn't buy any excursions, we are planning on touring 2 Historic homes and visiting the Charleston City Market.

If anyone has any updates on any of these places I would be thankful if you were to share the info.

  9. My DH and I are on that sailing.

    It is a small world.

    :)

I'm on the roll call for the 28th cruise. I've been trying to find out as much info as possible about our ports of call. I think all but Miami was hit by the hurricane. I haven't heard anything about how the port of Charleston and Port Canaveral are doing. I'm wondering if we will still be stopping there.
