Hello, I am trying to decide between Blarney and Kinsale or the highlights of the Ring of Kerry (Kenmare, Molls Gap, Muckross, Killarney, etc.) IDK, I did my research on the highlights but still undecided. Any suggestions...

Thank You so much for posting this review on the Celebrity board as I rarely venture out to other lines (well I do with RC). I am only on page 3 and loving everything, your pics, detailed review, style of writing, font, color, everything, lol:D

Glad you had a Great Time:D

Back from my cruise and have sent the tour to all those that requested... check your email.:D
Hi Paula, how was your cruise?:)

Hi Zales!
Not that I know of but I wouldn't as I had euros. I can say that I say all the pricing in euros but that doesn't mean they wouldn't take USD.
Basically, I said all of that to say I do not know. Lol
Thank You Ayasha:p

Hello Ayasha,
Can you please tell me if Santorini was taking US dollars in the souvenir shops?

Not sure where you're going from, but there are lots of additional things can be seen on the Cliffs trip - the Poulnabrone Dolmen, Bunratty Castle, Lahinch, the Burren - can all be seen in a day.
Thank You for this added description, the tours all say Cliffs of Moher and that's it, now I can inquire if they visit these other places.:)

Thank You smslms, yes it's a day trip, and it's a tough choice because they both appear to be really scenic:rolleyes:

If you're a fan of "Downtown Abbey," then Inveraray. Parts of the 2013 season were filmed there.
Funny, I have heard nothing but rave reviews about Downtown Abbey, but never saw the show:p

Hi Zales
Stirling Castle is a historical medieval military fortification while Inverarary Castle is more a large country house albeit with history. My own personal preference would be Stirling. If you are docking at Greenock you do not state whether you are doing a private or ships tour, if a ships tour both are reasonably accessable if a private tour Stirling would be my choice. I hope you enjoy your visit to our wonderful country.
Very different as has already been mentioned but Stirling is a major historic site in Scotland and the views are spectacular. don't miss taking the guided tour. You won't regret choosing a visit to Stirling Castle. It was one of my favorite sites on a three week tour of Scotland.Hmmm, I did do a quick research of both, and for some strange reason I found Inveraray to be different from all the other castles like Edinburgh, Cawdor etc, I guess like Sanjam cruisers said it's like a house. I will most likely be doing a private tour from Greenock, and most of them are doing Stirling, hence my question. Thanx for your detailed responses:)

Click the above link to take you to the CDC's Traveler's Health website. You type in each place you're visiting, and it tells you whether or not you need vaccinations for that country. All places were fine (on our itinerary at least), except Turkey. It said to get Hep A and B series if eating in Turkey.
Sent using the Cruise Critic forums app
Thank You so much cruisequeen4ever, very interesting. Wow, I had no idea:eek:

Can someone please explain how Hepatitis is correlated with eating in Turkey:o

Hi, most people do these cities DIY as they are all so easy. For information on how to do this see my web site.
Ships companies do tours but they are usually short and expensive.
'Friends of Dave' do full day tours of Schwerin/ Wismar and shorter tours of Rostock/Warnemünde using public transport. I do not have any personal experience of them but they get very good reviews. There may be others but I do not have any information on them, sorry.
I do not know of anyone going to Stralsund but it is very easy to DIY.
Maybe other cruisers could help with their experiences!
Happy cruising :)
Anni
Thank You so much, you have been very helpful;)

Hello Anni, can you please tell me if you know of any tour companies that go to Schwerin, Wismar, Stralsund, and Rostock?

Thank you so much!
We did go to Naples! Although we didn't explore Naples...we toured Pompeii, Sorrento, drove along the Amalfi Coast and had lunch in Positano. I'm working on putting that recap together as we speak! Should have it up in the Naples CC forum sometime this week. I'll let ya know when it's up! :)
Thank You, looking forward to it.:D

Thanx VMax1700, yea it's long about 1 1/2 each way and about 3 1/2 hours of sightseeing, just wasn't sure if it was worth it. Told the tour operator needed to be back 3 hours b4 ship leaves, lol;)
