On Raduance I’ve never seen them look at S&S cards, they just make the announcement if you are under 18 or easily offended to gay the F@)& out!

Yes, they sell a unlimited soda card, and most cruisers get a free 1.5 liter bottled water. You can pre-order a 12 pack of bottled water for 4.95 and it will be waiting in your cabin. You can purchase 1liter bottles of booze for around 75-100 each to enjoy in your cabin.

If you have their email, I would forward the Hold email & add that when the promotion ends. You could also say if you don’t hear back by an hour before it ends, you will just book it yourself.

Personal spirits are verboten, not allowed. No bottles of any kind can be brought onboard, even soda

I don't know specifically about this wine going through (I think it should) however for the last 3 post-covid cruises out of Long Beach, I put our two bottles of wine in a wheeled-carryon, and tell the people at the xray machine that this bag has our two bottles of wine in it. Never a question, and they never even open the bag to look at the actual bottles of wine (sometimes it's one bottle of wine and one champagne). That might be your best bet. However, that looks like a squared-off bottle, not round like the typical bottle, so they may want to look at it because of that. Good luck!

In the past, when DH had some 'free cabin' offers, we made sure to pay to get a better cabin (so if interior was free, paid $50 for window, etc.) That was all it took to get points added for the cruise, since they did get some revenue from the trip. YMMV

Carnival doesn't care where anyone sleeps. They will give you a door key (no charging priveleges) for another cabin as long as the inhabitants agree; you and your husband will have to go together to request additional door keys.

You can order a drink, one of your 15 per day, and if you don't like it, I guess you can hand it off to your friend. I wouldn't do it right there at the bar. I might walk away and hand it off later. However, you will get $#!& online here for doing it. '
Or, you can order two drinks and pay for one. That being said, I may have, in the past, found out what the Piano Bar guy liked, ordered one for myself, and then handed it (untouched) off to him.

The only tests that are acceptable are stated at the top of the Carnival opening page.
Kaiser offers a PCR saliva test that has been acceptable for Carnival for several months for us.

No smoking on Balconies every. The reference to smoking & starboard is the open-air smoking venues are on the starboard side (Starboard=Smoking is how I remember it) so you have a chance of the smoke wafting up to your balcony, depending on where it is.

I'd say go early to ATD and just let the waiter know you only want appetizer (and perhaps dessert). Then go to your specialty dining later in the evening. Or you could reverse the order, I guess.

No specialty items from the MDR are in the Lido buffet, just some of the main courses and perhaps one of the hot soups.

True, but has there ever been a time in the 50 year history of the company when a ship has ever done 7 day cruises every week of the year to the same 3 ports? This is what will happen with the Jubilee going to Cozumel, Costa Maya and Mahogany Bay. Some sailings reverse the order, but it's still repetitive for 52 weeks.
I know that the new ship sailings will carry the sales for awhile, but things do have to eventually change with the itineraries and the length of cruise.
Yes, 7 night cruises out of Long Beach go to Cabo, Mazatlan, & Puerto Vallarta. Every week, same ports, for years and years now. Not a lot of options out of Long Beach, unfortunately. Also their 3-4 days cruises are locked into ports for Radiance. Still travel quite often, which you can see by my signature, however we cruise to be on a ship, not for the ports.

Just lock the cards, and boarding pass, until muster complete. No purchases, no cabin access. Cards can still be in the mailbox but not activated until scanning in at muster. If you don’t drink, it doesn’t affect you if they cut off purchases but cabin access will make people take notice.
I'm fine with locking the cards for all purchases, etc. but not cabin access. You need the ability to drop off your carry-ons in the cabin (even if it's not ready for occupancy)

This is just my opinion but the whole port day thing is overrated in regards to Cheers. I"m speaking for only Caribbean-ish cruises I've been on but the vast majority of the time we are back on the ship by 3pm (sometimes earlier due to the short time they keep you in port). If we're back on by 3ish....have a couple of drinks before dinner and a few during/after dinner....if you're just going by the per day thing it's still worth it imo...and that's just the alcohol, not including the bottles of water or coffees we get here and there after we get back on.
Agree. We took an 8 night cruise out of Puerto Rico with 6-7 port stops, and still Cheers made sense for us. We would have a specialty coffee and mimosa (or two) in the mornings before getting off the ship, and took bottles of water from the bar to take with us. Then, add in a couple of pre-dinner drinks, and wine with dinner, and it's' more than paid for. You also don't need to then book the all inclusive port excursions just for the free drinks.
It also frees up the choice of which wine to order for dinner, go ahead and splurge on the glass of the really good stuff you normally might not pay for. And, not having the internal debate about how much you've spent already when deciding if you want a drink while you're waiting for the production show to begin, go ahead and order it. It really takes so much of the stress away, it's worth it for that, even if you DON'T hit the break-even point on any given day.- 2

Thanks, I appreciate you looking out. Seems to be a casualty of covid (like the flat iron in MDR). Haven't seen it on any other menus posted either.
I'll have to check my documents from our Radiance cruise 3/4-7/22 to see if I can see the seafood tower on a printed menu. I wonder if they moved it to be available at the Seafood Shack.
I DO know for sure they have the Sushi boat available in the MDR. A young couple sitting next to us one night had it for dinner. I believe it was an $18 upcharge.

Just got off the Radiance a week or so ago. I was in a Spa Interior and my sister was in a Spa Balcony. Both cabins included access to the Thermal area in the Spa. You swapped your cabin key out for a key to the special Thermal Suite area. It had a aromatherapy steam room, a regular Finnish Sauna (hot) with a sea view, an Infra-Red sauna (not as hot) with a wall made of Himalayan Salt tiles, and a large room with 12 heated tile loungers with a great ocean view. At the end of this area was a rainfall shower, and a shower with misting nozzles. NO pool at all in this Cloud 9 spa, unlike other ships.
If you are not booked in a spa cabin, you can purchase the spa pass, not sure of the price, however.

The Self-serve stations are NOT included in the Cheers package. You must get your drinks through the bar or dining rooms
Specialty coffees ARE included in Cheers, both in the dining rooms and at the Coffee Bar.

.....Why they would open a still sealed carton seems silly. Thanks!
Because some people know he trick of carefully opening the end, replacing all the soda with beer cans, leaving just the 2-4 you can see from the carrying slot visible as soda. Then using a hot glue gun to reseal. (at least that's what I've heard)

I get that, I'm just pointing out it used to also be stated on the Cabin Confirmation email up until 2015.
