I received an upgrade offer for my cruise on the breakaway Nov5. I currently have a balcony room with the slight bump out balcony. One of the offers was for a mini suite stateroom with min bid of $25. Is this worth bidding for? I tried to see what was really different with the mini suite against the balcony room i currently have reserved. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

We just did this in March. We paid for the beach/village transfer but we ended up doing the beach only. I don't think the village is walking distance from the beach so if you are interested in going to the village, you will have to take the bus. When we got off the ship, the buses are all lined up ready to go to the beach and then to the village. I hope this helps.

Yes this helps greatly! We are not interested in going to the beach mainly shopping and strolling around the area for a bit. Does anyone know what the cost of the buses that are waiting are in comparison to what NCL charges? thanks!

The last time I was there, there were tons of cocoa beach shuttles for less than NCL.

so dont sign up for the transfer? When I come off the ship there are shuttles waiting?

If I just book the cocoa beach transfer rather than the beach and village transfer which is a little cheaper can I walk to the shops from the drop off point for the beach only transfer? Im sure we will need to walk off some of the great food we will be eating lol...thanks for any insight. Also, it says 30 minute duration on the NCl site. Im assuming the shuttle comes back at various times.. thanks

I think I settled on deck 13 and found one angled balcony 13290....I hope its a great choice!

Thanks for all the great feedback. We dont mind walking steps to get to the action. I was looking at that category because of the price. It was a couple hundred more to change floors or midship room. Just trying to get the best cabin for the money we are willing to spend. I was hoping to land a bigger balcony too!

I am looking at a Balcony room BC, floor 11 , 13 or 14 Forward or Aft. We are a family of 4 and I would like a room that is close to the action with minimal noise when we are ready to settle in for the night. Also, I dont know which is better for motion the front or the back?

My husband is going to die when he see's this room, he thinks we are getting the aft extended balcony. I upgraded it secretly. He just turned 40 so we are taking this vacation for his bday without the kiddies!

I had aft balcony #7448.... I saw that the aft wrap #7440 on the Valor was still available so I asked about upgrading. I paid the difference and am going to surpirse my husband with the Aft wrap!!!!

Are the rooms any different in size?

Im kinda doing what your doing. I am flying into FLL the day before cruise and I rented a car from avis which i will pick up at the airport. I will drop it off at an avis in miami about a mile or so away from the port and grab a taxi for about $10 when I return I will do the same thing...grab a taxi and go back to avis and rent the car for the day and drive it up to FLL cheaper than shuttle service for a family of five. also i got the best rate from http://www.rentalcarmomma.com
