  1. That is really sad that it's been cancelled. My friend and I went in January of 2022. We absolutely loved it and thought it worth every penny.
  2. Yes, food and drinks were good. There was a pier. The pier had a couple of hammocks.
  3. We rode our bikes through Majahual, past Krazy Lobster, Tropicante, etc. and this place appeared to be at the end of the pedestrian/bicycle drag. I looked on Google maps and figured out that it is Macho Restaurant/Beach Club/Hotel Macho. Aside from the time kayaking, we spent 45 minutes or less there.
  4. My husband and I did this excursion through Celebrity on our November cruise on Beyond. We really enjoyed it. The bike ride is a bit bumpy in places but it's a nice flat ride from Costa Maya through Mahajual. You stop at a beach club at the end of Majahual for the kayaking portion. If you want to order food and drinks, you can. They have restrooms there. There are not other people there, just your excursion and the employees. The kayaking part was fun. We saw some fish. I thought it was very enjoyable.
  5. We went to Little French Key last January before all of the craziness started. I was a little skeptical of it because I had read about the owner (Kevah) and the mistreatment of the animals. I was nervous about booking ahead of time because things were still uncertain with Covid and I was afraid the ship would not stop. I had read many reports here on CC about people having trouble getting their money back when the port of call was cancelled. My friend and I actually just reached out to AJ's Sloth Rescue when we got to Roatan. They sent someone to pick us up and bring us to the rescue and then he took us to LFK and came to get us when we were ready to leave. It cost more doing it that way but everything was wonderful at both places and our driver, Tex, was just great. We are going back next month. Again, I was nervous about pre-booking LFK. I came to CC to see if there were any recent posts and saw all this craziness. Wow! I'm glad that there is new ownership because the old owner did seem shady from the articles I read last year. I'm happy to see that we can now just book online and pay when we get there. We will definitely do that. LFK and AJ's are both just wonderful places. I will say that the people who worked at LFK really seemed to care for the animals. The young man that we spoke to had been accepted to college but said that he felt a responsibility to stay and look after the animals. I am glad to hear that the new owner is trying to find more suitable placement for the animals though.
  6. I own CCL stock and considering buying the other two. We normally sail Princess but we're booked on Celebrity in November, NCL in February, and a b2b on Virgin in May. Still cruising for sure!
  7. I saw someone else mention a gratuity charge on a spa pass earlier this week and I was really surprised by it. I have purchased spa passes on Princess, NCL, and Disney and never paid a gratuity on that. We will be on Beyond in November but we're in Aquaclass so I didn't know Celebrity charges a gratuity for the thermal suite.
  8. Yes, I just noticed that 10% discount. I was going to look and see what Regal will be doing instead. I'm actually pondering trying Hawaii again. We did the round trip to Hawaii from San Francisco on Grand a few years ago. But, we only got to stop in Honolulu because of a fire on the ship.
  9. I just received an email from Princess that the Baltic program out of Denmark on Regal for 2023 is canceled due to the war in Ukraine. My husband and I were booked for the transatlantic leaving Denamark in September of 2023. 😔 https://www.princess.com/downloads/pdf/plan/impacted-and-cancelled-cruises/cancelled-cruises-regal-europe-apr-through-sept-2023.pdf
