BRIDGETOWN, BARBADOS
SCARBOROUGH, TOBAGO
PORT OF SPAIN, TRINIDAD
ST. GEORGE'S, GRENADA
KINGSTOWN, ST. VINCENT

CASTRIES, ST. LUCIA

Another great place for ideas about your ports is the Ports Of Call forum for the Caribbean.
yes thanks, I was going to delve into that deeper in the future once I get some general opinions from someone who has been there or is this the first time they offered those islands?

The Grandeur sails from Barbados. The cruise includes my favorite island St. Lucia and 5 more I have never been to., or heard of quite frankly other than Grenada and that was when the Brits were taking it back. Any opinions on whether they are worth stopping at ?
Trinidad
Tobago
Roseau, Dominica
St. Vincent
Grenada
Your ideas are appreciated.

Is there a list?

Get your refund. Cruising isn't coming back this year, why tie your money up. Take a nice vacation to the Rockies, Coast of Maine, Desert Southwest.
Funny you say that. Heading to AZ Tuesday, two National Parks, Saguaro and Petrified. New Mexico and Texas in March

So if my April cruise gets canceled how long do they give me to book another cruise.

What makes you think an April 2021 cruise will be cancelled?
Why not wait until end of January and see if indeed ships are sailing?
I have rescheduled multiple cruises and nothing ever develops. I am waiting until they cancel, not before. My point for the post is if it does cancel I'm not doing it again until all restrictions are done.
-
Upcoming Liberty April cruise will probably be canceled. If so when I am offered a full refund does that include EVERYTHING? Taxes, port fees and cabin costs?
Only thing I lose is OBC which wasn't mine to begin with correct?

So it seems like Royal Caribbean is taking full advantage of Carnival’s decision to scrap the Fascination and leave San Juan vacant. I know that a lot of people will be glad to have a summer option to sail the Southern Caribbean again.
Thoughts?
Only if it stops at St. Lucia, my favorite!

I have over $500 in FCC and $300 in OBC.
Thinking of booking a cruise that is only $425 for the cruise. I assume $120 in port and taxes.
Can the leftover FCC be applied to the port/taxes? If not what happens to the remaining amount?

Uh oh, we have two cabins booked on the Fascination for January 2021. That was a rebooking after May 2020 was cancelled. Not a good sign, for sure.
I was on a May Fascination cruise as well that got canceled. To answer the original post I am just waiting. I have been on that port intensive cruise ( reason I am going back ) and until I know I am going to St. Lucia this cruisers not booking!. Good Luck!

I rebooked my cancelled May cruise for January. Same cruise out of San Juan except for one port that is different.
I assume it is on the Fascination. What port is cancelled?

We all miss cruising
I just hope the cruise lines do not run out of cash, without having any income and huge expenses for 8 monthsYes a valid concern. What about all the OBC and FCC that will be applied once it starts back up. What cash infusion will keep the ships going?

No need to waste your time at the casino when there are so many fantastic activities going on all around the ship almost 16 hours a day
quite the statement. Waste your time at the casino? I don't waste my time at bingo or the trivia

Let's hope they resume soon, everyone is booked and waiting just like you. I'm just not rebooking anything or doing and more check ins until I know.
I agree with Firefly. Tempted to book but they already have so much of my money in FCC, and part of it the promised refunds pending.
There are plenty of other things to do and see. I too would rather be cruising but oh well.
