  1. I have sailed on both ships and liked the Breeze much better. The food and service was much better on the Breeze. They are both the same class ship. Liked the way the Breeze was decorated better.

Has the Dream changed to playlist production shows? That I don’t know.

3 ports on each cruise. Is one more sea day worth it to you?

I have been to New Orleans but not on a cruise. I may be wrong but isn’t most of the time on the Mississippi river done at night?

It is your decision. We did the 6 day Breeze last March and had a great time.

  2. I have found the conquest class ships the most crowded. The dream and fantasy class ships the least crowded.

I suggest on the Sunshine going to the main dining room for breakfast. You always get a seat and your food is brought to you.

  3. You can drive to the terminal to pick passengers up without going to the parking area. You will need to stay with your car.

When dropping off passengers you go to the same place. It the other end of the terminal. There will be people there to direct you.

You can drop people off at the terminal, where the porters are. They can go check in while you go and park the car. Note you will need to have your boarding pass with you along with your passport or other document so you can enter the building.

  4. Maybe. Maybe means you may replenish your cans in port if it is a Coke product.

Actually the new rules states that a small quantity of non-alcoholic beverages (i.e., sparkling water, sodas, juice, and milk) packaged in cans or cartons may be brought onboard on embarkation day only in guests’ carry-on luggage. A small quantity is considered a maximum of 12 sealed, unopened cans/cartons of 12 ounces each or less per person.

  5. It is not a ride.

It is not regular 3D. The movement of the seats. The wind and rain make it different.

We enjoyed it and purchased the week pass. It was never full anytime we went. But could have been at other times. I think there are eight different movies. Two are shown at each seating.

A schedule is at the box office when it is closed or you can find movie times in your funtimes.

  6. The beds can be changed once you board the ship if you want. Just talk to your cabin steward.

If you try to change your dinning time. Nothing may be available at the late time.

If you book your excursions on line you can cancel before the cruise and book another one. Once on the ship you may be charged a 25% fee to cancel.

  7. We have not yet received a card with a hole already in it. May be because some passengers have no need for it.

It could be the blank card stock Carnival is now purchasing has the hole already in it.

We have had a hole punched into our cards in the casino and t guest services. Sometimes it is round and others it is an oval.

  8. I have had to wait up to 30 minutes in a line for a return tender. That was in Grand Cayman on a hot day. No priority tender for FTTF/Platinum/Diamond. It's unusual to wait that long though.

We had a similar experience in Grand Carman. Waited almost an hour.

  9. I remember the captains reception, the farwell party and the past guest party.

The captain’s reception had free drinks and the captain and senior officers were available to talk to. Now there is a meet and greet with the captain and cruise director on the promenade deck for photos one cruise elegant night.

The farwell party and past guest party have been combined into one.

We don’t mind it is held the last night. We pack early and by five we are ready. Which is when the first past guest party starts.

Our invitations have been taken at the door each time. We have also brought any red or blue card passengers in our cabins with us. Each time we were told it was permissible to bring anyone one in our cabin no matter what their VIPP level. I guess this is up to the management of each individual ship to decide this.

I think a free drink the last night of the cruise is a good thing. Weather you have to go to the party to get it or have a coupon to use it elsewhere on the ship.

  10. I don’t know if we will reach diamond. Only time will tell.

We will reach milestone. Not sure actually when it will be. My wife and I will both be doing our milestone cruise at the same time. A 50% OBC would be great.

A couple of cruises later our grandson will become milestone so he will get 25% onboard credit.

I use a CPAP at night and bring an extension cord to plug it in. It also helps if we wanted to use an extra outlet.

The Breeze did have two outlets in the cabin when we sailed in March.

I have read that power strips are ok as long as they don’t have a surge protector in them.

I know. I guess our cabin steward did know or didn’t care.
