This is relativity new. For us we did not see any credit until we actually sent out laundry. The amount of credit equaled the amount we sent out.

The same thing happened with the Dream and the Sunshine. Both had cruises scheduled. But Carnival decided to switch ships and gave people the chance to sail on the ship replacing theirs.
I haven’t sailed on the Magic yet. We will after it arrives in Port Canaveral. But we really enjoyed our cruise on the Freedom and that was before it received the upgrades.
After I booked our Freedom cruise the itinerary changed which Carnival can do without any advance notice to the passengers. It was still a very nice cruise.

The only machines aboard "Valor" recently, that payed, were the ATM's!
"SKY"
I play that one on many ships.

On the Liberty in the suite we had there was on in the cabin by the mirror and one the dressing area in bath room. Plus the one for razors in the bath room.
On the Breeze there was two working outlets by the mirror in the cabin. That cabin was not a suite.

We have always had a great cruise on the Sensation. We hope to sail on her again before she moves to Miami.

I have read so many times about people saying they don’t like the past guest party. Then get upset when they can’t go.
I think it would be easier to get a free drink on the last night of the cruise with a coupon than to have to spend an hour at a given time to get a free drink.

For our Valor cruise I can see all available excursions. I use internet explorer at work and chrome at home.
May be it is just the web site acting up.

At one time if you booked eight cabins you get one free. The increased amount covers the free cabin.

Port Canaveral does not have a dream class ship since the Dream moved to New Orleans. It will increase the number of cabins there. The Sensation will be leaving Port Canaveral for Miami and will be replaced with another larger ship. More cabins for the same three and four days cruises.
Port Canaveral is a good stop for people who drive from northern states. A shorter drive than Miami.
With Royal moving one of its Oasis class ships to Port Canaveral Carnival wants to give passengers a good less expensive option to the overpriced Royal ships that sail form Port Canaveral.

A free drink if you go to the party. A free drink if you don't. A free drink either way. :)

We prefer early dining. However since we booked late early is already full and we are waitlisted. Late and any time dining are both still available. Early I was told is the preferred time.
For us early dining at 6:00 PM is much better than the 8:15 PM for late dining.

We had one person cancel on us. There would be no refund so we just boarded as usual with one no show. We told Carnival at check in we would be one short.
Once on the ship we did ask that the tips be removed for the no show. That way No one else would get that amount added to their account.

Our grandson was able to move up once we boarded the ship.
Computers look at the age when the cruise starts.
Once we were on the ship we talked to a person and showed the new age he was allowed into the next age group.

You can’t add a card to your account after the cruise. The bill is settled the morning you left the ship.
Carnival billing would not know what your gift card number is. Gift cards are sold by a different department.
Since the cruise is over you can use it on another cruise or give it as a gift to someone you know going on a cruise.

Carnival shows before playlist were much better. Most still are. Playlist shows are shorter that the production shows. Playlist show usually have four men and four women.
-
The unspent money will be refunded to you.

I am not sure what snookeling is. We have done snuba a couple of times and each time we had a mask that covered the full face.
-
Our cruise is in 40 day on the Valor. We are waitlisted for the early dining also. Late seating and your time dining are available. We have used your time dining in the past and did not care for it. We are set for the late seating.

I never assume that the person who brought the order set up the tray...I would tip twice
I agree. They just pick up the tray and carry it to a cabin.
We always tip. The tip is for delivering the room service food and not for the food.
We never know if the order is completely correct until the person who delivered it has left. We usually have five or move covered dishes.
During the cruise we always keep some extra silverware wrapped in a napkin from the lido deck in our cabin in case we need it.

Our cruise is in 40 days. We are waitlisted for the early seating. Anytime dining and the late seating are still open.

On the Breeze and the Freedom there were two past guest parties because of the large amount of returning passengers.
The parties were before dinner. One for the early seating and one for the late seating

The first of three times we sailed on the Miracle was from Tampa many years ago. The problem with Tampa is Carnival ships larger than the Miracle cannot sail under the Sky Way Bridge.

The same eggs they use to make omelets are used to make scrambled eggs. They come in a half gallon carton like milk.

I'm also interested in this info for my cruise next week.
I've read where you can cash out in the casino, but not too clear on the details. Maybe someone can clarify?
(Misty -congrats on getting your cards. I'm still trying, although don't need them until 2/2016.):)
If you gamble you need to cash out the last night of the cruise with the cashier in the casino. This is different from your sail & sign account where you deal with guest services.
I get a print out of our account the last night of the cruise. You can get one form guest services or one of the kiosks on board.
We just wait for a check to be mailed to us after the cruise. If we settle up the last night we still may make purchases. We definitely do not want to go to guest services the morning we have to leave the ship.

We usually don’t get drinks. I’ve seen some people who do get a couple or more and then one to carry out of the party.
If there were only 200 people who receive three drinks at $10 each. $6,000 value of drinks. That is $900 worth of tips the wait staff is not getting. Or does carnival pay them for the tips the passengers are not paying.
