thank you for the first hand info
-
yup i looked at both sets of deckplans. Well, thank you for your help!
-
I'm not sure, I am thinking that the Old Fashioned BBQ places were up the stairs above the Lido Marketplace on the inside of ship. I was just curious if anything replaced it since Mondello mentioned that it was removed during last dry dock.
-
Thank you both so much for the information! It doesn't appear that they replaced the BBQ place with another dining venue? Is that correct? Any idea why not?
-
Does anyone on this board know when the Spirit is scheduled for its next dry dock? And will any venues be added?
Thank you in advance

of course john heald's relative won!

no winner here
played every day

it is Free Play that I was speaking of, not OBC
I even went to Casino Cage to inquire on many of the cruises that we booked with the offers.
Maybe policy has changed now.
-
on past carnival cruises, my husband booked offer and got the DOU card and the Free Play, I however only received the DOU and not my Free Play even though I had the same offer. Only one Free Play per room as we were told.
-
we stayed above the casino during a Premier Cruise. While we did not hear casino noise technically, we could hear the Premier Host on the microphone announcing the various games and winners. It was actually quite loud and occurred all week long.

You are funny! Sounds your wife sounds like my husband!

actually is this new?....".staterooms will be ready when you board."
I thought people said that they were being told that unless you were a Suite Guest, your stateroom would be ready at 1:30 (unless you just want to drop off your luggage)

thank you for clarifying, but since that was from his facebook a few weeks ago, I am just curious if they might change the requirement now that the CDC and FDA have approved the booster and recommending it be taken.

Now that the covid booster shots have been approved for all adults, will Carnival now change "fully vaccinated" to mean the shots and the booster as a requirement to sail?

I would love to know the answer to this as well, Greg - pretty please. Keep in mind, I've never asked you for anything (until now)! 😉😂
Edit: And I'm pretty sure Illinoisfive meant to ask what the "minimum bet" is, not the "minimum buy in". At least that's what I'd like to know since craps really doesn't have a minimum buy in.
-
Greg,
Can you find out what the minimum buy in at the craps table? Is it still $5 or have they raised it?
thanks

New Orleanians define “debris” (day-bree) as the extra tender little bits of beef that fall off a beef roast as it’s cooking in the oven, all mixed into a garlicky and spicy beef gravy. Mother’s Restaurant in New Orleans is known as the home of the famous debris po-boy.

This would be debris and grits on the bottom left.
it looks DELICIOUS!!!

What do you expect Carnival to do with non-US citizen crew members, mildly infected? They are in quarantine on the ship in the designated area where meals can be delivered to them and medical staff can look after them. They are isolated and beyond physically distanced from anybody else. There is no threat to anyone, it is VERY responsible and CDC compliant. If there were any serious cases, they would have been transferred to an appropriate medical facility on land.
Per the ambulance chaser, the majority of cases were discovered on Saturday - the turnaround day for the ship.
I am not saying Carnival is to blame. My point was that The Points Guy is painting Carnival in a bad light. Does he have a grudge against them? IDK. And I agree with what you have been saying about Carnival being CDC compliant and trying their best to be acting responsibly.
-
The Points Guy has an article that I just read online that paints the picture to be that the 27 Covid infected people are ALL on the ship currently and makes it sound like Carnival Cruise Line has been and is irresponsible in its actions. Crazy as it has been said in this thread that it is a combination of 2 cruises that comprised that number of infections.

carnival website states Horizon sailing from Miami begins Aug 1 (unless i misread it?)

Ultras and Premier Cruises seem to be different, as when my husband and I both have the offer, we both get the money and the drinks and the gifts, whereas on a regular casino offer you both need the offer to receive the free drinks and only the booking party gets the money. we only book one room.

when i book through my PVP he always tells me that if we both have the offer then we each get the free drinks portion, however only the one VIFP that is booking gets the money offer also
