I am not saying Carnival is to blame.  My point was that The Points Guy is painting Carnival in a bad light. Does he have a grudge against them?  IDK.   And I agree with what you have been saying about Carnival being CDC compliant and trying their best to be acting responsibly.

The Points Guy has an article that I just read online that paints the picture to be that the 27 Covid infected people are ALL on the ship currently and makes it sound like Carnival Cruise Line has been and is irresponsible in its actions.  Crazy as it has been said in this thread that it is a combination of 2 cruises that comprised that number of infections.

Ultras and Premier Cruises seem to be different, as when my husband and I both have the offer, we both get the money and the drinks and the gifts, whereas on a regular casino offer you both need the offer to receive the free drinks and only the booking party gets the money.  we only book one room.

when i book through my PVP he always tells me that if we both have the offer then we each get the free drinks portion, however only the one VIFP that is booking gets the money offer also

my PVP has told me in the past that just because there might be a lot of rooms showing as open when trying to book a casino offer does not mean that there are actually that number of rooms available for booking under the casino offer. just a bit of information 

please report back here after you find out the differences so that we know, as I also have those two offers and can't figure it out either.    thank you

my offer for the SE Premier is for the exact same amount of funplay as the regular Premier offer that I received however the price for the room is higher, hence why I am wondering what is the benefit?

sadly, my cruise credits are exactly the same for the SE Premier and and regular Premier.  The rate is higher for the SE Premier, which is why I was wondering what the difference is between the two experiences.  Is it worth the higher booking rate for the SE?

 i lose alot in the casino every cruise and always get $0 on my  Ultra offers and have to pay for my room.

Not going to pay for the MANY people that the FREE ROOMS and lots of $$$$

how does a Special Edition Premier Cruise differ from a regular Premier Cruise?

I called my PVP last friday and received my full refund yesterday!  He told me it could take between 7-14 days.  Carnival pulled through just I thought they would!

Speaking if the hidden ducks.....I found a tiny pink embellished duck on my trip two weeks ago on the Conquest and it was taken from my room.  It was the tiniest and cutest little duck!  I left it on the shelf by the tv and the next morning it was gone.  I have an idea of who might have taken it......not the Room Steward or his helper, as they were great.  There was, however, a female crew member that commented on my collection of ducks (she mentioned that she also collects them) and the next evening it disappeared from my room.  

My suggestion would be to put them out of sight to insure that noone is tempted.

the cost is way higher for the ultras than the premier and getaways cruises.  Do they think we don't know they are building their cost of the ultra gift into that?  not that stupid.  also, now that they don't display all the gifts on your given day/time, who knows how many of each gift there really are, could be mostly $300 cash which is the minimum.

or $8.88 depending on which machine you are playing at max bet LOL

Question for anyone who has gone on a cruise with the Hot Streak Offer.  Did you get the DOU card in your cabin for use on your cruise?  The wording is a bit strange on the offer and I want to clarify if anyone has in fact gotten the card.

we have used Cortrans shuttle in the past and they are awesome!  We stayed in Orlando and they picked us up in the morning and took us to cruiseport and then from cruiseport to MCO after cruise.  Our ship arrived very late and Jaime (the owner) arranged for a different shuttle to take us to MCO for no extra charge to get us to the airport on time! I would trust them again any time!

I am not sure if they go directly from MCO to Cape Canaveral hotels or just from Orlando hotels so check website, however they have been great with customer service for us!

We had a 12:15 flight last year and almost missed it.  Our ship was late coming in and our shuttle time was missed.  Thank goodness our shuttle company (Jamie @ Cortrans Shuttle) paid another shuttle to take us and that driver drove 80 MPH to get us  to the plane on time!  It all worked out and we made our flight but I would never book a flight that early again out of MCO when cruising from Port Canaveral.
