My group has asked me to host our Meet & Greet.

I've never done one so looking for some guidance on who to contact for a room and if it can be done before we sail to communicate with someone on the ship.

I'd like to get a time and place coordinated with Carnival before we sail so I can relay the information to group while I have the boards to do it on.

Are there activities that could be planned for the group?

Will Carnival provide anything for the group other then a room?

Any suggestions on what other people have done would greatly be appreciated.

Last year for the marathon I was staying post cruise in Miami. It was a mess because there were no taxis coming to the port that morning with all those cruise ship passengers looking for transportation to the airport or hotels was awful. Waiting out by the taxi area with not a taxi in sight there was a person walking up and down the area with hundreds of people looking for transportation was telling people that a bus would be coming and offering free transportation to the airport complaints of the city of Miami. I was going to a hotel but my hotel did offer free transportation to and from the airport so I got on the bus to the airport then called my hotel to pick me up at the airport. This was my only alternative to get to my hotel that morning. I felt bad for all those 50 other people on the bus because even though they got free transportation to the airport the driver said he only makes one stop and they had to all get out and walk to what ever terminal they were leaving from.

Yes close neighbors I actually live in Yardville. I was just checking Amtrak from Trenton to Baltimore and it is coming in around $41 for 4/13/13. I now have to check out what cab service is in the area and the cost to the Cruise terminal.

I am looking at the same repo and have the same problem regarding transportation. I live in the Trenton NJ area and looking for transportation to Baltimore Cruise Port for 4/13/13.

I contacted the bus service Royal Caribbean recommends (http://www.enttours.cm) but the bus company told me today that they may not continue service to the Enchantment of the Seas. Right now they offer it until March. The guy said to call back in a month to see it they will extend it but he didn't seem to hopeful about it.

If you find a source of transportation please post it and I will do the same.
