Jamman54 You posted a picture on HMC that brought back memories for me.  It was the picture of the Oasis at the end of the beach.  My traveling buddy and I were there probably 14-15 years ago. I think it was a cruise on the Holland American Eurodam. It was fabulous, but I doubt that it was $2000 even though  we had  a group of maybe 20.

Darn, I'm late to the party.  Well, at least I made page 2!  Can't wait to follow your travels.

That was always my favorite.  I think the last time I was there, we were in Surf City.

We did a 15 night  Panama Canal cruise on the Bliss five years ago. It was fabulous. Going through the locks was amazing, as were all the stops in Mexico. I have never been on the Joy, but I am sure the experience would be similar.

I'm following along as well.  We were on the Mardi Gras in October of 2021 and are scheduled for December of this year.  Can't wait to see if things have changed.  I agree with the Brass Magnolia as the best bar and atmosphere.  Enjoy your crruise.

HxFx I was really impressed with TAP.  We flew from Barcelona to Lisbon and Lisbon to Miami.  Great flights, great service.  Couldn't get over the food they keep giving you; i'm used to the small bag of prezels here in the US.😆 

sid_9169  You are in my area.  Fort Pierce is where I live - just south of Vero and Sebastion is just north of Vero.  Enjoy!

I have a lot of catching up to do, but I thought I'd share my cuise experience with you. Just got back from our worst cruise on the Carnival Magic. Our St. Thomas excursion to St. John's was cancelled. In our excursion (outside vendor) in St. Martin was an exhausting mess. We never found the meeting place, so we lost our money on that one. Our stop in Grand Turk was cancelled. We were scheduled to do a golf cart excursion of the island. At least that was refunded. Instead we went to Nassau the following day - my least favorite port. Internet kept going in and out. I could never reach Guest Services on my phone. Most items lissted on the menus for dinner in the main dining room were poor. Most food served was luke warm at best. There was no working elevator up to the Serenity deck and I hate steps. I could go on and on. I was happy when the eight days were over only to face the worst debarkation in Miami that I've ever experienced, and Robert and I came down with the "cruise crud" - sneezing, coughing, etc.

Looking forward to folloing you on your next cruise.  I've never been to any of the ports that you will be visiting, accept Nassau.  Can't wait to see how much you like them.

Oh, no!  We are scheduled to board the Magic on the 24th - 8 day Eastern Caribbean.
