  1. I had one when the Oasis first sailed years ago.

I was near the back of the ship on deck 9 , and had great views ( prior to the slide addition ) .

Good for people watching on the boardwalk , but as others have said keep the curtains closed

    at night.

Not very noisy when the door is closed.

We went back to ocean view after that one time booking.

I always take my full sized suitcase with me. Sometimes the porters /room steward don't get your luggage to your cabin until after dinner which doesn't work well for me.

How does it fit through the scanner to get onto the ship ?

  3. We bring one 26 inch suitcase each and one tote bag .

They only weigh about 31 lbs each and the luggage empty weighs 15 lbs by itself .

Since we dont bring any formal wear anymore , the luggage is about 5 lbs lighter.

Its easy to self disembark also.

  4. Personally i would lean towards the 11 am flight as we walk off with our bags in tow , but i typically

like at least a 12 pm flight for a little more wiggle room.

If i miss it , then at least there is a chance to get on the 2 pm flight.

There is just the two of us , and the flight is only 2 hours , so no biggy if we dont sit together .

  5. Dont worry , you will come across something worthy of eating and might even gain a few pounds.

Most people that like the food dont say anything, so if you see a few negative comments dont take them too seriously. Sure they may have gotten something they didnt like , but they could of ordered something else to replace it at no extra cost.

  6. I dont mind the MDR . I always find something to eat , and always gain a few pounds on a cruise.

Last time we were on MTD and we were dispatched to different floors and tables each evening as we showed up early and they sourced an empty two top for us right away.

All of the wait staff was excellent wherever we ended up and the food was not bad at all .

With the free diamond drinks and no specialty dining , i guess im a freeloader in RC`s eyes , lol .😁

It's the size of the venue.  Fewer chairs than, say, the main theater.

Absolutely, Id say the main theatre is 5 times bigger.

I googled the main theatre capacity at 1380 .

Cant find the capacity of the Attic, but id hazard a guess at around  200 - 250

  8. Thats the one venue that gets booked up real fast as soon as it opens up on line .

On the Harmony a few months ago , they let in quite a few in the stand by line.

I didnt realize they let people stand at the back , not seated.

If you do get a reservation once on the ship get to the show half an hour early to get a good seat.

  9. The one thing we do before we put anything in the drawers is we wipe them down with antiseptic wipes , as we dont want to put clean clothes into what may have been used as a dirty underwear drawer . We let them air out and dry before we put anything in them.

We also wipe down the shelves as we have seen videos of people using them to store their shoes

rather than putting them on the floor where they belong.

Takes about 5 minutes , makes us feel better . Meh .

  10. I dont spend any extra on a cruise . I eat the included food and get the 4 free diamond drinks .

I have no desire anymore for excursions or extra fees for anything.

I look at those fees for all the extras and shake my head at how much RC abuses their guests.

I just enjoy the ship ( Oasis class ) and all it has to offer included in the fare price.

But thats me , everybody else can do what they like.🙂
