I think that I have figured it out. On our January Serenade cruises (B3B) all sea pass cards listed two dates, the beginning date and the ending date of that cruise. Our previous sea pass cards only had the date that you sail. Royal must have made a change to the cards.

We have done many B2B cruises as recent as December and January. We have never seen this. Perhaps it is something new.

Hello everyone!
We will cruise in Serenade 9258 next year. Has anyone stayed in it recently and if so, do they have lounge chairs on the balcony?
Hate to pack our blow up footstools unless necessary!
Thanks! Melissa
We were in Serenade 9658 in January. We had 2 lounge chairs, a table and 2 straight chairs. Our friends were in 9258 and their cabin was the same.

Where you on the same ship for B2B? I think the other person is on two different ships.

Same ship.

We changed from D to D+ on the 2nd leg of a B2B. We talked to the loyalty ambassador near the end of the 1st cruise. The cards that we received at the terminal for the 2nd leg did not have D+. We went to guest services when back on the ship and it had been updated. We got new cards and got the extra benefits.

The prescription parches made both of us very sleepy. We now use Bonine, ginger gum and sea bands. Bonine doesn’t make me sleepy but sometimes it does make my husband sleepy. You could try just the ginger gum and the sea bands. Sea bands work great for me. Hope this helps.

We were on Serenade for 24 days in January and found no problem. Have another 21 days booked in January 2020.

Yep, more 2020 sailings out today. Just booked Serenade for 11 nights in January. Including Columbia, Panama and Costa Rica:p
We just booked as well.

It does help but now that i know the whole beach isn't crowded i may just skip the excursion and park myself away from the bars!

We have been by car as well as the boat trip. Just remember if you go by car that it is not a very big beach. Also, traffic can be heavy so allow lots of time to get back to the port. Enjoy!

Me and hubby are booked on a 9 Night Anthem Bermuda/Caribbean Cruise 5/17 - 5/26 and one of the stops is St. Martin.
We keep seeing vlogs about Maho beach and the amazing views of the airplanes flying above.
I'd like to see that but I don't know if I actually want to spend time on that beach because I'm sure the popularity of the planes makes the beach uber crowded.
I found this snorkel excursion where you can see the planes form this boat but we due to physical limitations, we couldn't book this until we know how people get on an off this specific boat.
Has anyone been on this excursion before? Is it hard to back into the boat from the water? Is there a ladder?
We have been on this tour. There are two ladders that I remember. One is a straight down ladder like a swimming pool. The other is more like regular steps. We did not get in the water but sat on the boat. They put a platform out to the side with table and chairs. It is a two level boat but you don’t have to go upstairs. They initially board the boat at the water taxi dock. Hope this helps.

Ships are different as how they do the milestone blocks. Most of ours have just been left on the bed. We should have gotten one last December on Oasis. I asked the loyalty ambassador and she said that we would get it on our next cruise. I didn’t think that was right but I didn’t fuss about it since we were going on Serenade a month later. When we got on Serenade in January, I asked the loyalty ambassador and she said that I should have gotten it on Oasis. She said that she would email the Oasis. Well we waited for a while after we got home and nothing came. Finally had to call Crown and Anchor. They ordered it for us and we finally got it at home.

We did that tour in January. I remember steps to get down to the beach area. I don’t recall seeing an elevator but there could be one. The only stops were at the distillery and Mambo Beach.

My husband had a crown fall off on our 1st day of a cruise. No pain, tho'. He went to Medical. They offered to set him up with a dentist in St. Thomas but he declined. He decided to wait until we got home since it really wasn't a problem.
I had a dentist tell me to put a crown back on with Vaseline. Not sure how it worked because mine came off in the same city where I lived so was able to get to a dentist. I asked what I could have done if I was out of town and he told me Vaseline.

It was 8 pm for us in January.

Don't log in, don't enter your C&A number. You will have to compute your balcony discount manually.
I don’t log in to my account and I still get the same emails that were mentioned.

We did a b3b in January. The terminal we left from was not the one that we returned to at the end of our 3 cruises. Check the website posted earlier.

Went to the town beach in January and it was fine. We took the water taxi from the cruise ship dock.

We also use magnets but you have to get really strong ones. We also use suction cups but they work best on mirrors or pictures. Suction cups from Amazon are best.

On Serenade now and was on last cruise. They have now opened up part of Vortex for Diamond. Not sure what happened to the “policy”. We are D+ so have been going to Concierge Lounge. It’s crowded as well.

We have been on numerous B2B cruise most out of Port Everglades. There will be a meeting place on the ship for the B2B cruisers. You will be the last ones off the ship. You leave as a group and go through customs. The new seapass card is given out at this meeting or once you are in the terminal. They may have to take another picture but most of the time we have not had to have one taken. If you wish to go out into town there is a different process but we have never done that. If there are enough people they will have a special lunch.

I talked to two different agents at Royal this morning and both denied there was an increase. Then I get the email this afternoon.:o

Made calls using WiFi calling, sent and received emails and texts on Oasis in Early December. I only had surf.

The last time we renewed our passport, we also got a passport card. It is the size of a drivers license. We take that ashore for our photo ID. We like it because it doesn’t have our address on it like a DL does.

Used WiFi calling on our recent Oasis cruise. We purchased a WiFi package, turned off cellular and put phone in airplane mode. We were able to text and make and receive calls. We actually keep our phones in WiFi calling mode since our cellular signal at home can be weak at times. As was said earlier, you need to do it before you leave the country. We have Verizon cellular service.

You didn’t say which relatives. His wife should be able to have their accounts linked and she would become Diamond. Not so the other family members.
