  1. Please let me get back to you. My daughter-in-law and son married in Key West two years ago. All the women in the wedding went to a place which is upstairs and not easy to find. We had our hair and make-up done and had a wonderful time. We all really liked what was done and didn't feel the make-up and hair was too theatrical or dramatic. It was natural, but dressy. I wish the young woman could do my hair and make-up every day!

I will have to ask my daughter-in-law the name and address for you because I don't recall. Give me a day or two to get back to you. I'll try to get a phone number or e-mail for you so you can confirm the time and pricing.

Great!!!! Thank you so much! :)

  2. Congrats on your wedding. I'm confused about getting married at sea and the laws - so I guess it is legal to get married while you are sailing? I only ask because I'm getting married this November on board the Pearl, it is a charter so NCL will not help with the wedding but we can marry on board but I didn't know we could marry at sea. We figured we would do it while docked in Key West and someone else on board is able to marry us.

  3. Hi! Not sure if anyone can help me out with this but here goes...

My fiance and I are planning to get married in November on our cruise which happens to be a music chartered cruise. They will not provide any wedding services for us but we can have a ceremony on the ship and know someone that will marry us. We sail out of Miami on a Sunday, offices are closed. Will Miami mail us a license and if they did - do we have to get married while in Miami or could we also use Key West (which is a stop) as an option? We were thinking of a sunrise wedding in Key West and the office doesn't open until 8:30am there. Just wondering if anyone was able to have the marriage license mailed to them beforehand? Thanks so much!

  4. NCL does own Sixthman.
I would say chances are there will be no ship shows in the theater as there were concerts in the theater every night. There will most likely be a few concerts on the pool deck every day too. Any of those shows you should be able to see unless you have no interest. They also had a stage set up in the atrium and where the bars are. But since there are only 650 for the charter, it might be different.
  5. Hmmm, that is interesting about the pool area. I was on a sixthman cruise last year and also again this cruise and I would think once they build the stage area - it will stay for the whole duration of the sixthman cruises which start the very end of October for the KISS Kruise and end 11/16 for the Simple Man cruise which I am sailing on. I am actually really surprised that you were able to book. I guess this cruise is not selling that great. Since this cruise is "partially" chartered as they told you - you might want to check more into it as the sixthman cruises do not have regular cruise activities. Here is the site if you have not seen it yet with info about the cruise:

  6. I was on the Breakaway 12/8 when the snow storm hit the East Coast. The hot tubs were open during the sail away. It was cold on deck but very festive passing NYC skyline, etc. Did not notice any rocking cruising south or north. We had great weather at all ports. No problems at Stirrup Cay. Just about an hour delay getting off the ship. Enjoy!

    Hi,

Was the ship decorated for the holidays? We might be booking for 12/7/14!

    Love Wildwood!

  7. Thanks...I have emailed them to find out. This is our first cruise ever so didn't think that things would be different packaging then regular cruises...

I've been on cruises but this will be my first Sixthman cruise and very different than a normal cruise.
