We are sailing on The Edge on 23rd Jan for an 11 night cruise. I’m presuming that there will be 2 or possibly 3 chic nights but does anyone know what nights these will be? I like to get my hair appointments booked in. We only booked the cruise a few days ago and I’m now rushing round trying to get everything sorted. Thanks in advance for any advice or help.

How often do the buses run to and from 7 mile beach?

We’ve just booked a cruise and we leave in 2 weeks so I’m now frantically trying to glean up to date information on the destinations. I’ve done a quick search and I’m getting either old posts or conflicting information. We’re not interested in tours but just want to wander the old town of Cartagena on our own. Questions: Is it still easy enough to get a taxi from port to town? We don’t want a situation where we can’t get a taxi back to the ship easily. Would we avoid the pushy touts if we got off the ship early, 8.00am ish? Does the hop on hop off bus stop at the port and is it reliable? Some people on trip advisor say they enjoyed it, others have said they waited an hour for a bus. Don’t fancy long waits. Thank you in advance for any help from anyone who has visited there fairly recently.p

Apologies if this has already been discussed but we only booked the cruise last week and I’m now frantically trying to organise everything including hotels, parking, packing, restaurant reservations, researching destinations etc. I usually have time to search the boards but at the moment time is of the essence. .
