I just heard that a hurricane is going to Bermuda! Any one hear this?

Yes, I am going down by car service on October 27th on the Gem for eleven days! They give you a number you can call when you get off the ship. I find the Manhattan pier to be easy going in and always have some type of trouble going home. This will be my sixth cruise, I hope an easy one!

When I am on vacation~~I ignore, ignore, ignore and have a great time!

I have been four times to Bermuda~~it is so beautiful and would go a fifth! I think I covered a lot now. Beautiful beaches~~like Horseshoe and many others! Last year~~I spent a day at the Reef Resort~~have to go on-line at their site to make a reservation. You go over by ferry to Hamilton and take a taxi to the Reef's~~best day of my life~~a package~~even lunch and wine! Well worth it!

I just received mine to print and I sail October 27th! Be sure to print out luggage tags also and on-board credit slip as well~~I got $250.00 on-board credit~~the spa for sure!

The Gem was supposed to go out at 3:00 I thought today, did not see her, now I am seeing Carnival pulling out! Anyone know?

I do not understand the post. I cruise solo and leave the husband at home~~he would never get on a ship~~hates them! I always have loads of fun meeting new people!

I had a wonderful and fun cruise on the "Breakaway" last October going to Bermuda~~was at H20 most of the time and the Ice Bar. Enjoyed every minute and I am not low class and from the Hudson Valley! Cannot wait until October 27th on the "Gem" for 11 days to five islands, Woohoo!

The weather gods can be cruel or kind. I sailed in November "2011" on the "Gem ~~nothing but beautiful weather to the Bahamas and back~~we even got to stop at her island~~GSC! Last October~~went on the Breakaway to Bermuda and nothing but great weather~~it was hot actually in Bermuda and this year going on the Gem for 11 days on October 27th to the Caribbean to five islands! As you can see~~I love to cruise~~this will be my sixth! May the good weather be with me!

I did the cabin crawl on the "Breakaway" last year ~~it was so much fun! This year, October 27th for 11 days on the "Gem"~~I am offering my cabin for the cabin crawl~~just a balcony with "Bon Voyage" decorations~~so it should be quite festive! Happy Sailing!

Never lock mine~~keep valuables in my carry-on! They can have my clothes if they want them!

I sailed the Breakaway last October and went to a specialty restaurant the first night but did not get the free bottle of wine (I was solo) it was for two people!!the waiter proceeds to tell me, if he saw around the ship, the wine is on him, never did see him, ha, ha. I found a great bar in the atrium that served the best Sangria! I was a very happy person!

How will the no-smoking policy effect the October 27,2014 cruise for 11 days~~November 1st will be in the middle of me cruise!

it is about time~~had too many cruises ruined from smoking on the balcony by next-door neighbors~~went right into my cabin~~had to shut the balcony door! glad to hear it!

good for the" Dawn"! I have friends on-board~~just in time for the "Breakaway" and Summit" to come into Bermuda. I bet the "Dawn" will pass the "Breakaway" and "Summit" coming in and the "Dawn" going out!

We are having a large meet and greet on October 27th for an 11-day cruise, cabin crawl and maybe pull slot! Have a great time on the "Gem", she is a great ship (Been on her in "2011") and again in October!

Really the mini-suite is just like a balcony~~except the shower is a little different. I went on the "Breakaway" last October to Bermuda and went from a "solo" cabin to a balcony and really enjoyed it!
