What has been the response of the staff manning the entrance to the MDR when you voice your complaints what others are wearing into the MDR and the staff isn't doing anything about it?

Some people get cruise ankles, some people get cruise waist. 🍷

Exactly what I'm referring to.

Or the guy entering the MDR looking like a million dollars escorting his partner wearing her daisy dukes and a halter top. Just saying...

Agree with GC. Also Celebrity's CC doesn't recognize mid way tier level CC points.

Agree it's not a big deal, but we did like the tradition of being handed a glass of champagne when we first boarded the ship. We were on the Apex this past March and saw champagne being handed out at Cafe Al Bacio. We didn't stop. We also have the AI package so we had our customary welcome aboard drink at the martini bar.

We still feel the AI is a good value. We book early. Got the AI package for our next two future Celebrity cruises and an equivalent package for our future Princess cruise. Since 2020 everything cost a lot more.

Called All Included (AI). We also get the AI package but never seen it that low ($200 PP). How long was the cruise?

We also enjoy cruising with Celebrity as well as RC. We like the differences and similarities between Celebrity and RC. We also like how the CAS handles the drinks for Diamond and above. The CC Elite internet minutes are better than CAS Diamond internet minutes. Champagne (sparkling wine) is no longer handed out when you first enter the ship. Mimosas, bellini's, bloody marys and other select coffees and juices are only served at breakfast in the Tuscan Grill or another designated area (depends on the ship and the number of Elite and above) from 8 to 10:AM. We don't go. Prefer the MDR and we always have the AI with the CBP. So drinks anytime.

Not in my job description and way above my pay grade to worry or concern myself with what others wear or don't wear. Obviously not you.

Not all two tops in the MDR are close. Bummer for you that you are fixated on another persons legs and what they are wearing on their feet.

Haven't notice or care. The only set of legs close or next to mine are my wife's. We only do two tops. Breakfast and dinner. 😉

Why. You asked the CC community "if people do not want to put even minimal dress code why do they need to go to MDR?" No one here can answer what others do. We are always happy when we are eating in the MDR in the evening on RC. Personally what others wear isn't my (our) concern. That's all on the staff at the entrance to the MDR. We were subject to a noisy busy body concerning what we were wearing one evening while standing in line to the MRD on the JOS a few years ago. I didn't ignore her comment.

On your next cruise ask them. 🙄Then post back how receptive they were to your question.

The Celebrity Today will be in your stateroom each evening. You still get a SeaPass card to use for all onboard charges and it's also your stateroom key. You can pick it up at your stateroom when you first board the ship. Using your phone and the app is an option not a requirement. My phone stays in the safe the entire cruise.

On the Summit, September 2022 and the Apex March 2023 each ship had two Pelotons for general use. There was a sign up sheet at the entrance to the gym but I never signed up and the sheet wasn't even dated for our cruise. I don't have a Peloton account. When I went to the gum I was the only one using the bike. There are others in a separate room of the gym and those Pelotons are for reserved for classes.

We were in 7118. No obstruction from the window washing equipment. Bed was by the balcony.

We had a DPV stateroom on our March Apex cruise. No issues. Great location. Booked another DPV for the Edge. Same stateroom location.

Perfectly acceptable for the MDR.
