In the Beach House DW asked for a banana split without the banana. Next time the waiter asked ' same as last time madam '. It was obviously an unusual request.
Every days a school day. I wondered if it was something to do with stone age cruisers who cut things up with axes made of gravel. For all those interested if you bash a piece of flint in the right way you can get a conchoidal fracture that can be used for arrow , or axe heads. ie gravelaxe. Sven the brave used them for cutting up Salmon in Oslo. ( I made that last bit up.) 🤣
I don't expect them to have a special website......get you compensation here. Orderly queue please.... waiting time 5 minutes. Roll up, roll up.....remember at the start of the pandemic. All those cancellations. All those armchair lawyers. ...refunds should be made in 14 days..we will report them to ABTA..
.yeah. right. If they do give out any cash it will be in their own good time
...if ever.
DW's birthday today. They didn't have one She likes in the Micheal Koors shop in Gunwharf, so she picked one from the Guess shop. This morning..Happy birthday darling, here's your present...It looked bigger yesterday..Zap said.....nothing.🤔
Just finished breakfast on the Isle of Wight. I didn't post a picture as most folk know what egg and bacon looks like. Good news Graham. I got an email from McDonalds. Breakfast wraps are back.🤣
Perhaps my memory is going, but I don't remember all these allergies and inolerances around when I was younger. Late night, west end club and some dubious looking grub on the walk home. I doubt the hot dog stall on Chelsea Bridge, or the jellied eel van would have got many stars in 1968.
We are taking a short break at Warners at Bembridge at the moment. IoW grow lots of garlic. Not much coughing here and no vampires, so far. Garlic may be the universal savior🧛♂️🧌
It must be a nightmare for cruise lines, hotels etc. Paprika Intolerant is a new one on me. If I was in that trade I would be tempted to forgoe their business. Compensation??.
Glad it lived upto expectations. I believe the company that owned that little cruise ship was owned by the private equity company that owned pret a menger. Probably sold on several times by now.
