We are Platinum with warners, but we still have to eat the same food as the ordinary folk.🤣

I find it quite refreshing . Lots of fairly positive posts regarding food. We have booked a cruise on Arvia for next year and are quite looking forward to the selection of restaurants. As if everything's perfect on land. We had a break in North Devon. Food wilderness and £18 for a burger in a fairly grotty pub. Our cruise is about £100pppn. Unlimited decent food, nice view, good entertainment . All is fine on board. Any cruisewill do.

A choice of sauces is a very good idea

We go into town once a week. We wander around the shops, get some lunch, pop to the bank, or the building society. We pay our credit card bills at the bank by cheque. Creature's of habit unfortunately. Our investments and drawdowns are all on line. It was nice to pop into a travel agent to pick up a glossy brochure....but only TUI left and I have more brochures than them. While we still have a high street we will use it.🤔

So you won't be sailing with P&O again then?. Which wine did you select at your school?

We have done 8 cruises since lockdown, 6 of them P&O. The choice of restaurants and range of food has been fine. We don't go to the MDR for an " experience ". Just some decent food to keep us going. If we want a meal that is a bit more special, we go to a speciality.

Our bank is still open. Folk visit from miles away to have a look, or to cash a cheque............remember cheques?...the staff don't ask me any more.....you could do that transaction at the machine sir.........why are you talking yourself out of a job?.

DW got a Radley purse there last year. I've been trying to find the best glue to stick it back together. I think our next trip may cost me another Michael Koors.

Apparently the cutbacks will hit the Christmas cruises. Staff cuts in the panto. Snow White and the 6 dwarfs. One of them isn't happy.🥳

I miss the prawn cocktails. They show up occasionally, but don't compare well to the RC offerings.

The choices in the MDR are less, but you won't go hungry.

The sooner the EUelectronic visa comes in the better. I'm getting a nice collection of stamps in my passport. At this rate I will need a new passport well before 10 years.

The lifts are deemed by some to be too small on Arvia. Will adverse reports make them bigger ?....I doubt it.

Thanks. The problem for me is that folk repeat, over and over the same few issues. Ones that generally won't affect our enjoyment. I stubbed my toe on that stupid coffee table on Iona. It took a year for the black bit to grow out. Do I bang on about it ?.....Hardly ever.🤣

A UK SC holiday in August is about double the price of non peak. That's the way of the world. Nothing unusual, as you say.
