I wonder how long before they reverse that decision.
The reason we all carry some sort of product is because the cabins don't meet the needs today
Furthermore, I never used my phone on ships, but they force me to use the app.
We will all use the same amount of power, just differently
Overnight is a good time to recharge as the ship requires less power from other sources.

If I were the last minute addition, I would have told my friends to enjoy and I would catch up with them later

My daughter, SIL and 2 grandbabies are on this sailing
They are not YC
She said took over 2 hours on embarkation
Then, the had switch her dining to 9:30
Last I spoke to her, the kiddies were not enjoying all the times in lines.

Update from son in law
The passeport was " held from processing" 2 weeks ago
Reason, he had forgotten to write " Montreal, pq. On his business address.
Nobody contacted him, papers were not returned.
He now asked for " rush" service.
He should have it Thursday at noon.

My son in law is leaving Sunday.
They charged his card 2 weeks ago and he still does not have it.
He has an apt at the passeport office tomorrow. ( Yes, he was silly to send regular in early July )

I traveled with my daughter from 9 to 18
Always had a letter from my ex.
He was not big on paperwork, but if I prepared it, he would sign it
Btw, the only time I was asked for it was on re entry into CA.

Also, I prefer morning excursions. And free time in afternoon.
Start farthest point and make your way back towards the ship .
Also, I never look at sailing time ( I believe that time should not even be published)
The only important time is all aboard

In over 30 cruises, would never dream of leaving the country without health care coverage
However, we " self insure" the cost of the cruise.
My credit card does cover some travel expenses.
Always sail inside cabin, so if I lose that, I will be sad, but risk I can live with.
To each there own.
And yes, I would not whine

I like to target 60 min before the all aboard.
This gives us a buffer for unexpected events.
Don't want to cut it too short.
If your ship does not change time.
Be extra careful of technologies that will change automatically when connected ( phone, smartwatch)

Pax has a contract with azamara for flights to and from cruise
If the airline " cancelled" the flights for his return
Cruise Line needs to find a new flight home
They can't just cancel that part of the contract without telling him
Agreed, it is good to verify. But good customer service is proactive, not reactive

My TA had the correct no on my reservation ? Called in and it was corrected

Just bring something to cover up
Many years ago, I left with scarfs in my bag to ensure nobody on our 8 person tour bus would get turned away.
Fashion police would not have approved, but everybody went to the vatican
