Just wait a few years.
I have been saying for years with all the restaurants why not two casinos? One smoking one non?
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I posted this the other day also. Not 1 area inside of the other area like it is now. I would be able to play longer that way too.:D

If he left for vacation, does anyone know who is the Concierge on the Dawn?
In June it was Karabi Saikia

We were in suite 12018 in early June. We had Mark Santos as butler and Carlos Ipapo as room steward. They were the best!!! We loved talking to them when they had free moments about their families too.:)
Enjoy your suite. We loved ours.:D

Our 1st cruise was on the Pearl to Alaska in inside cabins. There is so much to do and see on the ship and fitting everything in is impossible in 1 cruise. Still my favorite cruise so far.:)
Check out the Great Outdoors area at the rear of the ship. Loved eating out there and enjoyed watching scenery pass by me.:D

Usually 2 shows each night at 7pm and 9pm. Check the freestyle daily paper each evening ( left by your room steward) for showtimes on the next day.
-
And I also totally agree about the interior sections of the ship. I have no issue not smoking in the dining room or lounges. If I want a smoke inside I can go to the casino.
Maybe cruiselines need to offer 2 separate casino areas (smoking and non-smoking). That would allow smokers a larger area and non-smokers more opportunity to add to the ships revenue also.:D I am a non-smoker who would enjoy this option more if it was provided.
Not an area within an area but separate rooms totally. :)

On our cruise 1 month ago to Bermuda, there were 2 shows a night in the theater and other entertainers in lounges, atrium area, etc.
Bermuda also allowed for the casino to be open from 9 pm to 5 am while docked starting this season.
Not sure about other ports of call.

Click on the link to the rollcall for your cruise. Go to the Meet & Greet to meet others from your cruise. Maybe you can join someone else for a taxi tour or get ideas of what to do both on the ship or while in Bermuda.
We just returned from Bermuda 3 weeks ago.

We were on the June 6th cruise to Bermuda. I worked with Ncl closely trying to set up a cabin crawl and group slot pull for our rollcall group.
I saw the dailies from 3 different weeks and things changed so much from week to week. They don't "lock in" the activities until 1-2 days before the day(s) in question.
Times and days for a lot of the activities changed each week. I would have thought that activities would pretty much stay the same to make planning easier but was I wrong, lol:D
Finally got finalized dailies on Tueday for our activities planned for Wednesday and Thursday:)
Maxshadoe posted a link on our rollcall about page 30 (plus or minus 1 or 2 pages) for dailies from mid May if you want to check them out

Would have been nice to have had the actual review, rather than a lot of book cover and blank pages. Oh well, guess I'll just have to find out for myself tomorrow!!!! :p
Maybe something delayed her review beyond her control. She is a nurse and her hubby is a firefighter.....maybe they were saving someone's lives.......more important to me than " a lot of book cover and blank pages".
Have a good day!

I've had the same experience with the dailies.
Our laundry bag special pickup day was even different from what was reported on a previous cruise.......go figure that one.:D

I was on the same sailing as bermuda lover and maxshadoe. Our HD was Alain Magnier (very visible everywhere). We were in SJ 12018 and had Mark Santos (great butler) and Carlos Ipapo (Very good room steward). This was our 1st time in a suite. Loved the experience.
Our concierge was Karabi Saikia.
I may be able to help answer some specific questions until Bermuda lover gets her review posted
I found out 1st hand(while trying to set up a group slot pull and cabin crawl) that you can't go by freestyle dailies from other cruises. Things change from cruise to cruise and aren't "nailed" down until 1-2 days prior to a certain day in question.

we did the train up and a smaller shuttle bus back down thru Chillkoot charters. Stood outside on the train platform for "moving" pictures and got to stop and get off the shuttle bus for picture opportunities (Alaska sign, skagway, etc). It was great!:D

For anyone just recently off the Dawn to Bermuda, what day did Ncl pick up the bag of laundry and when did you get your laundry back ?
Thanks

Great pictures....which suite and ship?
-
Got Tequila?, thank you for this info.
-
Would someone explain how to set up a small party in your suite? Contact butler to set up? Any advice is appreciated....:)
-
On our cruise September, 2012, we docked at 30(industrial area) which is close to the main area. There were shuttle busses running us to the lower area in front of the funicular. It was about a 4 minute ride. I know they docked there other times too that season.

I had the same results on our June 6th cruise to Bermuda. Good job Ncl.

Thanks for the warning. Lol We were in NYC in 2012 pre~cruise so I know about culture shock. Thanks again.

Hello fellow Hoosier. (Live in Cicero in the summer)
Our favorite restaurant in the North End is Assaggio's on Prince Street. Our daughter works in Boston and when we visit we always stop in there before we go to her place. It is reasonably priced and we have always had wonderful food there.
Instead of Mike's bakery, go to Modern bakery and absorb the culture there. It is wonderful.
Enjoy your visit.
Be glad you were not here for this winter!!!! Worst one in several years.
:(
Always good to hear from a fellow Hoosier. We are about 60 miles north of Indy. Thanks for the headsup....
-
Thank you for the replies. I will check both out soon.
-
We will be in Boston early June and plan to walk part of the Freedom Trail up into the Northend area.
Looking for a decent Italian meal at lunchtime that won't break the "bank". Any ideas? Would be doing this on a Thursday if it matters :)

No tub. The sink and vanity is in the middle, the toilet is to the left in its own little closet and the shower is to the right with a sliding door. Spent 10 daye in that cabin in 2012

We have enjoyed lunch in the aft main dining room on all 4 of our cruises (Pearl 2x, Gem and Dawn) on embarcation day. Usually opens at noon . Love the peaceful and relaxing start to the vacation.
