ladycaveat...Good luck at the doc. Please, let us know about the diagnosis.
Wow, this swelling thing has never happened to me, however, I will only drink bottled water on my next cruise. Thanks for all the great info.

Late...No rushing on port days, more down time before dinner, pre-dinner power nap if needed, more romantic on formal nights and there are fewer children in the diningroom. ;)

DH and I have our own personalities, tastes and styles. Would never happen with us. The thought has never crossed our minds.
Funny, but recently, we were dressing for dinner with some friends at a local restaurant. When we saw we were wearing the same colors, I changed my clothes. We DID laugh.
IMHO, if I had twins, I would not dress them identically, or even match colors. To me, two people are two people.
The Crystal cruise couple would've been just a bit too much.

Hi...we haven't even cruised yet, but I can't imagine being at sea and not having a private balcony where you can ease into the day in your robe with a cup of coffee. I don't think the smaller, older ships have balconies. The Miracle will be 8 months old when we cruise. That was a big plus for me because everything will seem new.
I also prefer a larger ship with the stabilizers, especially since we'll be cruising during hurricane season. I've never gotten seasick, but I've been told that things can be very different on a mega ship that rocks with no land in sight, so the less rocking the better.
I'm with JanetMarie and smudge's mom...the entertainment and the uncrowded feeling will be another plus.
We ALWAYS travel off-season to avoid crowds, so, for us, the mega ships are the way to go.
Good luck....Karen

So glad to hear it's just what we thought - the salt content. Good for you that's it's just a temporary, albeit awful, ailment. ;)
