  1. Latebuyer said RCCL and Hubbard Glacier. I don't think there is any confusion, I just did a google search and it was offered on Radiance in 2018
  2. I am booked for the tour, July 15th @ 2pm on Cel Millennium Copied... Overview Your journey into wild Alaska begins the moment you board the tour vessel. Relax in the warm, comfortable cabin, surrounded by large windows, as an onboard naturalist provides compelling narration about the wildlife, geography and glaciers of the area. The waters and wilderness of this region are home to an abundance of wildlife and feature breathtaking scenery. The maneuverable, shallow-draft tour vessel provides a chance for up-close encounters and best photo opportunities of the area's animal species, in addition to exploration of the shoreline and islands. Throughout your tour, enjoy the dramatic vistas of rocky coastlines shaped by the mighty Pacific Ocean, and endless expanses of rainforest and snow-capped mountains. As you approach Hubbard Glacier, the experience captain will weave your tour vessel through a maze of icebergs, some multiple stories tall, making for amazing photos. The Hubbard Glacier is often very active, and dramatic displays of calving - one of Mother Nature's most impressive shows - can occur at any time. All in all, this tour makes for an unforgettable experience, and quite possibly, the wildlife encounter of a lifetime. Highlights Marvel at jaw-dropping panoramas of temperate rainforest, snowcapped mountains, abundant icebergs and dramatic coastline. The maneuverability and draft of this Alaskan-built vessel allows for exploration of areas not accessible by larger ships, including close-ups of icebergs and shallow coastlines. An onboard naturalist will talk about the local wildlife and geographic features of the area, complementing the visual experience of the tour. Enjoy the detours and stops along the way to take amazing photographs and soak in scenery impossible to view from a cruise ship. Important details and advisements Complimentary beverages included onboard the tour vessel: hot chocolate, coffee, tea, and water. Guests with limited mobility and wheelchair-dependent guests should not select this tour, as they must navigate a number of stairs, moving platforms and a narrow door threshold with little to no assistance. This tour operates in all weather conditions. Additional beverages are available for purchase. Wildlife sightings are frequent, but not guaranteed. Tours, tour dates, and times are subject to change and availability. Please be advised that this tour is likely to sell out. We recommend you book early so you don’t miss out. Guests must be of legal age to drink alcohol. Alcohol may be available, please drink responsibly. Departs at Day 2 2:00 pm Duration 2hr 30 min Activity Level Mild Full participation may require leisurely walking over primarily even surfaces... Read more This is in my cruise planner.
  3. No it is off the ship while going into the bay of Hubbard Glacier. Nothing to do with Tracy Arm, I've sailed in that fjord too.
  4. Well...maybe you weren't able or aware but it has been offered. Search here on CC for reviews, run by Allen Marine (not positive) through the cruise line. It has to be coordinated. I have also sailed multiple times in Alaska and have seen this multiple times.
  5. Celebrity does offer a small boat excursion so RCCL may as well. It will be in your cruise planner since this is only operated through the cruise lines. Patty
  6. There is a small boat tour, Glacier Explorer via Celebrity. (Rave Reviews) It operates the same as you described for Tracy Arm.
  7. Try booking under your account in cruise planner on a computer, the app is always wonky!
  8. The post is the sweetest and saddest! Really puts expectations and experiences into perspective. I sincerely hope that you soon find yourself back on the water enjoying all that you just described, Patty
  9. Sadly this is absolute truth! I have pics from my visits in 2010 & 2018 & 2019 the difference is shocking, in less than a decade! Patty
  10. I've sailed Alaska with Celebrity multiple times, indoor ship temperatures are very comfortable. Patty
  11. Less than 30min each way. Plan for about 3 hrs total, this gives you time at the glacier visitor center and bussing back and forth. Patty
  12. Have done this multiple times! Super easy and the bus driver will give some tips bits on the drive. No Need for a tour.
  13. This has been the case for many months. I've tried on serveral occasions and the system would change the cruise price so I plan to pay them when I call to pay the cruise balance. Patty
  14. I get it! We stayed in a condo in Wailea but still had a dinner at Mama's and Fleetwoods so you can imagine the cost. 🤑
  15. Not bickering but I also just went to Maui in June and I can assure you grats on a cruise at $47 a day is pennies compared to the tips I paid for dinners on land. Hope you had a great trip! Sadly, to us it was obvious the islands took a hard hit compared to our previous trips. Aloha Patty
  16. Is it possible you repriced this sailing? If you took a price drop, it's very likely the perks were no longer apart of the booking? Just a thought, Patty
  17. Couldn't have said it better! This post took a tacky turn! Thank you, Patty
  18. This board will be of no help. You need to contact your TA asap! This is not an ideal situation nor one I've experienced. I believe at this point it's up to who you booked with, to figure all this out. I understand your frustration, Patty
  19. IT glitches are common, it's often that the system takes a few days for prepaid gratuities and OBC to level out. Your invoice shows the actual OBC. $1700 for that booking, in that class, would have been too good to be true! Sorry you're disappointed, Patty
  20. The link is to the regular menu, not what I'd suspect is the special holiday meal.

    ISP SkyRider

Hello for those of you visited ISP in the 2022 season can you share how ISP ran the Skyrider? I did the skyrider a few years ago and at that time it was a combo tour with ATV's so that's how I reached the top. Now in my cruise planner for my July 2023 cruise there is only 1 time to book and its 7:30am with unlimited gondola rides. I also want to do another tour and the times are conflicting, keeping me from being able to book them. (Just pre-planning) So my question is how many times did they have throughout the day for booking? In the past it was multiple so making sure this hasn't changed? It is super early so am hoping that more times will come available in the coming months? TIA Patty
