Today is travel day.  Time to load the suitcases and backpacks in the SUV.   Our original plan was to all travel to the airport in our Highlander because it has seating for eight.  But after six of us traveled to fly to Myrtle Beach a few weeks ago, we realized we would not all fit with our large suitcases.  So now, we are in two vehicles for the drive to Pittsburgh airport.

    Trouble already

Now that the kids are older, they are always jockeying for the shotgun seat, or as I call it, the death seat!

I expected that of them, but not Daryl.

    safe travels

I've sailed Quantum 1 time and Anthem 8 times, so very familiar with the class, but looking forward to the changes on Odyssey (Playmakers, El Loco Fresh, "traditional" Main Dining Room), but will miss the outdoor WJ seating, and indoor pool (when it's bad weather).

    You will not be disappointed..

Snorkel Park iss a dump. You did good going to Somerset Long Bay. I hadn't been recomending it for a close to the Dockyard beach because they had not had chairs or ports potties for years. This is welcome news.

As for the rest of your experiences if you had done research you would have been prepared for the ferry and bus system. Bermuda is small, 60,000 so there limitations to how many buses and ferries they can support. Compared to any other island destination I have been on what they have is better. If you had asked about the caves on this board you would have known that reservations are recommended. But thanks for confirming that.

Curious about Long Bay-  how were the ammenties, distance from the Bus drop off spot-  any issues getting a bus back to the Dockyard- travelling with 6 adults and two little ones... Thanks  Will be there on 8/3 and 8/4.

How old are the little ones?
We are just now disembarking the Norwegian Joy after a week in Bermuda, which we have visited several times.

I agree with the poster above who advises skipping St George if you are only there for one day. It is too far to do comfortably. But why would you want to take little ones into Hamilton? Its attraction is mostly shopping.

With little ones, I would grab a shuttle off from the boat and visit one of the beautiful nearby beaches.

    18 months and 10 months

Probably but if you plan to take a bus I don't think the drivers will allow you to bring chairs. I don't know about the $7 shuttles.

What are the $7. Shuttles?  Through Royal Caribbean

I really want to do Spencer's boat to sugar beach, but the time is 8:30-3:30 and the ship is in Port from 7-4 so 3:30 feels like it's cutting it pretty close, no?

Did you email them, he may adjust tour due to the Ship's time- worth a shot..

For platinum members the tier benefits state "dinner for 2", as well as "dinner for 2 with a bottle of wine".  I just want to confirm with a platinum member that this is 2 separate "specialty" dinners.

    Thanks.

When and where can you redeem the Dinners?  New to Platinum status.. Thanks
