Once you get off 5 day cruise, you will need to go get tested somewhere, then get tested again in the terminal.
So if you get off 5 day and on 3 day, the same day, then you would be tested twice.
I hope you have a way to get to a testing place. Your other option is to get a test on royal that they probably will charge you $80 a person
We have Abbott Supervised Telehealth tests we are going to do the day before we finish the 5 day cruise- Thank you

MSC tested you again even though you already tested at Walgreens before boarding or they tested you because you are on B to B.
We are doing a 3 night on Meravaglia after getting off a 5 day with Royal on 2/17- we are sailing from Port Canaveral- is that where you sailed from? They COVID test you prior to getting on the Ship?
How is the process and timeframe- Thanks and Stay Safe...

Leaving on the Mariner of the Seas on 2/12 (Saturday) out of Port Canaveral- Getting a PCR Test from CVS prior- What is the earliest day of the week (date) that we can be tested in order for it to be valid for the Cruise protocol for a negative test- Thanks

Right now, I am on the Gem cruise to nowhere. Having an amazing time. We are stopped by the Star right now and transferring crew. I haven’t heard of any covid outbreaks among passengers or crew but we have had four room stewards in six days so I am drawing my own conclusions.
update: 51 crew transferred from the Gem via tender. Guys with hazmat suits on board the tender. Hope they recover quicklyDid any new crew come on the Ship?

Utterly exhausting.
That is why I just took the POM option... Way too many questions and not enough truths... If they cancel our 1/19 Cruise- they will extend the Future sailing date to May or take the full refund cash option... Sad.

I’m on the gem and we will be arriving back to NYC on the 19th of Jan.
There is no outbreak on board and I’ve been having a great time.
The destinations are worried and have closed their ports to cruise ships.
safe travels,
wyb
Has there been any info about future Sailings- We are on the next cruise on the 19th...have there been regular procuction shows, activities, any passenger restrictions for dining or poolside issues- Stay Safe..

They cancelled the last two ports but they are scheduled to be traveling back to NYC over 4 days, so it's still going to be nearly a full length cruise (arriving back the 18th rather than the 19th). Kind of weird. They spent two days at St. Martin and missed the other four ports (St. Thomas, Grand Turk, Tortola and Puerto Plata, DR).
Cruise Mapper now indicating that the Gem will arrive on 1/19 at 8am ??

Cruise Mapper now indicating that the Gem will arrive at NYC on 1/19 at 800am ? It has not left St. Maarten as of yet...
-
But if you want to cancel a Cruise that was not cancelled by NCL and you chose POM, is the FCC mandate that you must sail by the end of 2022?? About to take POM option for our Gem cruise next week....Thanks..

Eleven months is not reasonable- it should be an 18 month window to take your cruise.. Brutal
