Wow. Guess that's just one more reason to stay a Princess repeat offender. [emoji13]

They are indeed taking longer. Mine took over a week a couple weeks back but appeared under personalizer as shareholder credit $100.

Cost would be my determining factor. I've been on RCCL sev times and they're fine but cruises out of G'town are outrageous IMO. Captive audience I guess. I'm a Princess repeat offender and it's cheaper to fly to FLL from Dallas than to book and drive to TX coast. [emoji35]

First sea day and if there are 2 sea days before disembark then the first of those two. We'll be on her 11/13 and so I'm assuming formal nite will be 11/14 and then Friday 11/18 with final sea day being Sat and disembark Sun 11/20.

A 7 yr old that is reasonably active like in scouts or soccer for instance would be fine. My kids could've done it @ that age and they weren't super athletes by any means, just kids that didn't sit on the couch everyday.

I don't "get" the guarantee booking strategy myself unless you absolutely don't care anything about location and are waiting till the last minute and hope for a real bargain.

I would be curious to see data posted about how many cruisers actually pay the "suggested" amounts and how many adjust or totally remove grats. I know it's done since I've overheard conversations while waiting in line @ psd for another issue. While I'm not a mega seasoned cruiser, I've been on several lines but only PCL for last 11 cruises and have only once entertained the idea of having grats removed and that was on my third and LAST NCL cruise. We had the most useless lazy steward I think on the high seas ever and he should've been paying the three of us for doing much of HIS work.

We were on the Royal on a NE/Canada cruise two years ago next month. Mid Oct. We went up to MUTS one nite to watch the Steelers game. I thought I would freeze to death up there and my friend who is from upstate NY originally was even colder! There was one woman bundled up in a fancy sleeping bag thing. Needless to say we didn't last too long "under the stars"!! [emoji13]

Will the BVE person need to bring a passport? I've read PP, no PP; DL alone and DL plus birth certificate! I've never done this so it's confusing.

I personally wish they'd stop the "gifts" and lower the price. The thick robe was nice but heavy and something else to rearrange in heavy suitcases. They messed up our pictures and they had to be reprinted. The photographers assigned to the tour clearly weren't interested in getting decent shots of the group either since they weren't going to sell them.

I'm trying to price out our 2017 AK cruise using the new 3/free versus SS. Considering the SS promo includes not just booze drinks but also ALL drinks Inc bottled water I think we're further ahead using that. There is $139 reduction in fare plus free grats that equal $130 and a difference in OBC of $50. If we had 3 drinks/day @ $10 ea then we're pretty even. Won't even factor in the coffee, water etc.

We will be in Amber Cove DR from 0700-1500 so it's correct to assume that will be THEIR local time? This will be mid November.
I always verify with a crew member exiting the ship what time HE has. "And we have to be aboard at......."

Last time I did it was on Coral on our PC trip and it was $150 on last sea day.

Generally a rib eye, NY Strip, filet and T Bone. You can also get a tail added if you like. I'm going to try to weasel a piece of halibut or Chilean sea bass with my cow selection in a few weeks on the Regal. [emoji4]

Finally heard back from him and got all 3 of us booked. That PayPal site just not very user friendly IMO for whatever it's worth.
Thanks.

I'm not sure what "average" shape means! [emoji13] I'm an icu RN and I don't see folks in very good shape anymore! I'm in better shape than a year ago and have actually lost 20# and gained muscle so hoping I'll do ok. If not my DD will inherit stuff.

I'm sure u can. Most of these places are glad to have USD.

I'm still on the fence about 7 vs 12 falls. Thoughts? I'm not in pristine shape but spend several days in the gym doing classes Inc spinning and personally think I do ok for a woman my age. [emoji13]

Sure you can. And I wouldn't use an atm anywhere outside us personally. Cash a check @ PSD.

I've been on the Atlantis Sub in St T and personally think it's overpriced and not much of a viewing area.
Do you have any interest in seeing the "other side"? It's the east side of the island and is largely unpopulated except for a few bars/restaurants. We went on the Cozumel Bar Hop last time and enjoyed it. I hadn't been to that side since the early 80's.
Also have heard good things about a salsa making class in town somewhere but I've never done it.
Nachi Coccum south of town is a nice AI that limits itself to 100 patrons per day.
