Cozumel. You can google it! :)

I would highly recommend Nachi Cocom Beach Club! It is an all inclusive beach with a 4 course lunch, unlimited drinks, a beautiful beach with palapas for shade. There is a pool, a hot tub and they only take 100 cruise passengers per day! It is a cab ride away from the pier and it is $55 per adult.
We have gone there twice and loved it!

We sailed on the Epic last September. Someone in our roll call started a group within the roll call from Naples to Sorrento, Positano and Pompeii through Joe Bananas Limo. There were 8 of us total in the group which brought our price down to 115 euros each. It was all inclusive and a delicious lunch was part of the package.
I would highly recommend them! It was the highlight of our trip! Enjoy!

What about European cruises? My boyfriend is an avid football fan and we are sailing on the Epic on 9/6 and the Jade on 9/19. There is the time difference, too. Any night games played in the US would be the middle of the night in Europe. I'm afraid he is going to be out of luck. :(

Thank you so much for the posting the photos! We are sailing on the Jade 9/19 to the Greek Islands and I am so excited! One question- the cable car ride on Santorini. I am afraid of heights! How bad is it?
Thanks,
Liz

Although they're called complimentary there are additional fees besides the port charges and taxes. I think they're called non-commissioned fares? That is the case with the land based casino complimentary cruises from NCL. I have been on two and have one coming up in September. If you want to upgrade, there is additional cost as well. I hope this helps.

We are sailing on the Epic r/t from Barcelona and are wondering if a 9:30AM train to Paris is doable. The station is a 10 minute taxi ride from the port. We are booked in a haven suite and I believe we can disembark early.(?) Is this the case or is that only in other ports? Please advise. Thanks. (The next option is 4:30PM.)

We are booked on the Epic r/t from Barcelona. We are trying to book a train to Paris on the day we disembark. The station is a 10 minute taxi ride from the port. The train I want book is at 9:30AM. We are in the Haven Suites and I believe we are permitted to disembark early? Is this correct and doable? The next train is not until 4:30PM. Thanks

I have a similar question. I am looking to book a train to Paris from the Sants station that departs at 9:30AM. I understand that it is a 10 minute taxi ride to the station. We are in a Haven Suite and I think we are able to disembark early, but I am not sure. Can anyone advise?

Thanks! Tomorrow night I am getting together with the bf to research together. This will lessen my anxiety if we at least have our air booked for the overseas portion.
We still need to decide on excursions in the ports as well. This will keep me busy for the next few weeks/month. I will take all of this advice with me and try to relax (take a xanax) and have fun!

Thanks for the tips. The Epic cruise is through an online cruise travel agency, actually. The bonuses were so great because we booked a haven spa suite that came with gratuities paid, UDP, UBP, 250 internet minutes, $75 toward excursions at 4 ports. Plus the use of the haven, which I have never done before.
The Jade cruise is actually comped by CAS so it has to be booked through NCL. Therefore, I couldn't transfer the booking.
-So there probably isn't much commission for a TA on the land portion of our trip alone. I would never use a TA and then book ourselves with the information.

My bf and I just booked the Epic 9/6 out of Barcelona followed by the 9/19 Jade sailing out of Venice. It will be my first time to Europe. We plan on arriving in Barcelona 3-4 days before we sail and flying to Paris between cruises.
We will rent a car after the second cruise and drive around northern Italy. The whole trip will take the month of September. We haven't booked our flights as of yet and or our hotels/b&b's or rental car.
I feel overwhelmed at the whole process. I'm thinking a good TA would definitely be worth it with all of these changes we will be encountering. My bf seems to think we can handle it and wants to be more spontaneous. This just causes me anxiety.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Liz & Mike

This is my first trip to Europe. I am a recent widow (2 years) and a friend of mine said that "if you don't travel first class, eventually your kids will".
So I have a new guy I am dating and I am finding that I love to travel! I just booked the Jade for 9/19 and balconies and mini-suites are sold out! So I will be in an oceanview on deck 5. (155 sq ft)
Now that will be significantly smaller than the H9 on the Epic 9/6! But it is all good and I am still on vacation!
Thanks for the advice. :cool::cool:

Hi. We are sailing on the Epic western Mediterranean this September. The perks that come with the Haven Spa suites were too good to pass up! I am cancelling our cruise for 9/13 and I switched to the 9/6. Since the Epic is such a huge ship, I figured the private space that the Haven allows will make it feel less crowded.
My original cruise was complimentary from Foxwoods Casino but I had upgraded to a balcony. Now I am going to rebook the comped cruise for the NCL Jade sailing on 9/19 to the Greek Islands! Since we won't have to buy airline tickets for the second cruise, as we will already be overseas.
Will we be happy with just a balcony on the second cruise, or will we be forever spoiled because of the H9?

Just off the Breakaway on Sunday. The Martini Tastings were $15 for 6- 3oz. Martinis. They were awesome! They had them available everyday at the Martini bar (Shakers?) Enjoy!

I just booked about 10 days ago. I was only comped an inside and I upgraded to a balcony. They only allowed the one. Is CAS open on the weekend? Thanks
