Through the grapevine we have learned that MANY silver plus "O" Club members HAVE NOT booked any post "enhancement" day, 11/1/2019, sailings. And, efforts are being made by many of them to increase that number.....and, to exclude bookings on Regent and NCL.

FDR continues to get numerous emails from the LOYALTY gang to "grandfather"!! He's most astute, and, we'll see what happens.

Speaking of yesterday's news, how about comparisons of Crystal and Viking to "O" which do not belong on this thread.....too many times to quote!

And, how about almost everything else on these boards......Cuba cancelled ports, new itineraries, the R ships versus the O ships, GDR menus, times for meet and greet etc.!.

And, especially from those with 5000 plus posts, some of them with almost 10,000, and, most of them also meaningless.

This thread was moved forward regarding amenity changes as of 11/1/19......nothing to do with comparisons of "O" to Crystal or Viking.

pinotlover......the financing for a goodly portion of this enhancement project is already in the works.....by our loyal Oceania Club members, five cruises and higher, who will on average be shorted $600 per cruise, $460 spa credits and $100-$250 sbc, beginning Nov. 1, 2019.

Let's hope that the chair seats aren't near the floor like on Marina and Riviera!

Received this promo in the mail while away, so, not sure how long ago it arrived. It lists all the sailings where bookings are abysmal.

Clearly listed are the Sunny Charms sailings Jan. 2, Febr. 24 and March 16, 2019. However, with asterisk, it shows that 'fares shown reflect the Jan. 2 sailing only". HELLO!!

Not so to the last two posts. The doors are not sealed; they are always available for opening. We were in the deck 7 PH, 7135, and went to our cabin when addressed!

That's in a brochure received today. I usually bin them, but, decided to give it a look. C'MON!!

You have quite a few choices, but, the BIG KAHUNA usually gets the vote, especially since he was the final stamp of approval on a program that guaranteed CHOKING after about 8-10 years.....an d it did, as you can see!

The enhancements are an INSULT! How can you now include a cap and "bag",an unwanted wine tasting, a bottle of wine, "O" cost of $10-$12, and embark/debark premiums worth ZERO in place of $460 spa credits and addl'l sbc's of $100-$250?

Sorry, but, it's one doctor and two nurses.....always!

And, significant overcharges for services!

Just pester them, your T.A. assuming you have one, and waste their time until they finally relent, as they apparently do regularly, and, you'll finally get 6 months out. That's apparently the best that they'l do.

So, what happened to the April 2018 drydock, and, now, when is it scheduled?

Where is the ship tomorrow and Monday since Monday was to be an overnight in Montreal.....mucho days and nights in 3 Rivers??

You NEVER want to book the cruise lines insurance....you do it on your own!!!

BREAKING NEWS: After almost two weeks of pitching (sp), my T.A. was able to get the $100pp penalty waived and my final payment due 6 months out rather than 9 months.

WOW, $10.9m.......that's a lot of spa vouchers:mad:!!!
