Horseman.....why did you bother perusing the reopening of a long inactive thread, and, then make a meaningless post. Ride on!
-
The most typical remark when seeing an "O" doctor is "Just to be on the safe side, we'll need to do blood tests". So, with the visit charge and the blood tests, you're over $400. And, then, there's always the chance that you'll be on an "IV".....so, now you're in the $3000-$4000 and higher range.

Over the years, I've had to cancel a sailing for reason, but, simultaneously re-booked another, twice on Oceania and once each on Cunard and Princess, with no penalty. On Cunard, I canceled once with no re-book and was not penalized.
It's my understanding that Regent and Silversea charge $100pp penalty for PURE cancellations. There may be others.
And, now, received my invoice with final payment due NINE months in advance.
That may well be my final payment to Viking!
-
We had to cancel a booking due to a family conflict. We simultaneously re-booked another sailing......and, Viking doesn't transfer the deposit to a new booking. We were charged again for the $1000 deposit and will be refunded $800 after a $100pp penalty.
Pretty ridiculous!!

Any changes made yesterday in Miami?
Captain, GM, CD?
-
I assume finalized recently. My T.A. requested for me and was furnished this afternoon, and, the Air Deviation is bye-bye-baby!
-
Just received the finalized version from my T.A.
It's worse than I thought.....the Air Deviation Fee Waivers, a value of $350, are also gone!

Anything new regarding this matter in the last week?
-
Susans 14......by chance was the doctor from South Africa?
He's one that immediately suggests IV's and a $5000 plus bill.
-
Claudio Melli is scheduled to replace Thierry.

Awaiting a response.....we board on Thursday for b-2-b..

We had our hotel book its designated driver at 60Euros, charged to our account, for our transport to the ship, about 30 minutes. We tipped 10 Euros to the driver.
Why bother with walks, busses or trains when you spent BIG BUCKS on the cruise!
-
Have your hotel book a limo. Almost all hotels have regular drivers available.
-
Can you post the CD now and 3/16 and 3/26?
Thanks, A!:)

Looking at a R/T Miami fare that has a $700 difference in fares. The sbc is $600 per cabin or $300pp and the air credit is $300pp, so, if that's what makes up the difference it would seem to be beneficial, $100, to do the cruise only fare.
BUT, do you lose "O" Club benefits, like the $400 sbc and complimentary grats. that a Silver level member otherwise receives?

Jan, this thread may not have much interest for many CC'ers to peruse.
Most importantly, "Bob Binders Is Back"!
Perhaps a new thread?
-
The correct name of that cartoon character is "Wile E Coyote"!
-
OK trivia buffs, here's two for U.
1) How many faces does Big Ben have? and,
2) What was the most popular paid tourist attraction in the U.K. in 2015?
-
"dunno", that's it for Pierre's movement?
Certainly, one of you daily "blabbers" can do better than that. C'mon!
-
Had they consulted with me, they could have received the same conclusion for only a FREE cruise in an obstructed cabin!

Marina......4 r/t's Papeete, 2 at 10 days and 2 at 12 days.....C'mon!
Talk about filling the ships?
-
So, what's Marina doing the 32 days between February 3rd (Papeete) and March 7th (Papeete) r/t to N. Z. and Australia?
-
Just checked at 10;10.....nothing for Marina.
-
When does Marina leave Miami for L.A.? Assume it's a 14 day Panama Canal.
World Club Login?

Tried today to look at sailing history and could not find login.
Is that correct or show how to do.
Thanks, A!
