I know I need to fill out arrivecan before our arrival in Vancouver and also get tested before cruise, confused about timing.
We leave for Vancouver September 9 and our Alaska cruise departs September 11. Question would be when to fill out arrivecan and when we need to get tested. I was thinking we would test day we arrive in Vancouver, our flight arrives at 10 AM, what is earliest I should make appointment that day?
We are sailing Celebrity Eclipse and they have 2 European plugs by the desk. Do I just need adapter to be able to charge our iPhones, iPads etc? Any particular brand or style?
I too agree with other posters that Europe in August too hot and more crowds due too Europeans vacation in August. If you can do Spring or Fall in Europe that would be my advice.
I know the ship you choose is important but I would choose the itinerary first.
We are cruising Alaska mid September and realize this is end of the season. What might we find already closed for the season, such as restaurants and shops?
We are stopping in Ketchikan, Sitka, Skagway, Juneau and Icy Straight.
I also agree, that in Alaska as well as Vancouver best Halibut fish and chips. We are currently on the Oregon coast and have had wonderful halibut fish and chips too. Average price $22, but prices everywhere are up.
We clicked box for military discount which we received and also confirmation similar to yours that we needed to provide proof on boarding which we have. I would call just to confirm mistake you wouldn’t want to be embarrassed at embarkation.
We too love 10 days or longer cruises. We are booked on 11 day Caribbean 2023 and 12 day Caribbean 2024. Same itinerary, it’s nice to be able to unpack and settle in. I guess I understand that they might attract younger cruisers with the shorter itineraries. I would lift to do ABC cruise but not sure I want just 9 days.
I’ve completed check in for our September Alaska cruise but tags not available yet. How many days prior to cruise should I expect them to become available?
